My husband was looking forward to having liver and onions of all things. Turned out to be liver jerky. I ordered a basic cheeseburger, and it was very dry and Overcooked with zero flavor. Service was OK. She tried hard. Atmosphere was not very clean to me. Windows were extremely dirty and there was just no ambience of any kind. Even with the basic meal, our meal was $30 plus tip. Very underwhelmed, won’t be back I give this place a few months before it closes, Which is sad because Nixa needs decent restaurants.

Big breakfasts here. Took 1/2 home for leftovers. Hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. Lots of great protein. One breakfast was ordered with cinnamon French toast and one with pancakes. We shared those items and we both preferred the pancakes. Those were delicious! I think the French toast would be better with a little less cinnamon/sugar but the French toast itself was delicious.

We were genuinely looking forward to trying this place because the area needs more restaurants like it, but overall we weren’t impressed. We went for breakfast and it could have been better. The French Toast was actually really good, but the portion was very small. The potatoes my husband ordered were cut into all different sizes and not cooked evenly because of it. My fries were very undercooked and there was just no seasoning on anything. The price of everything was actually fairly decent! They were very receptive to our feedback and did offer a little discount for us even though we didn’t request or require one. We do hope this place improves as the months go by because we’d like to see more places like this succeed in the area!

Lovely place for breakfast! Good food, and good service! The atmosphere is typical for around here, but alas I went there to eat some good breakfast food and that it did not disappoint. Marry that with good service, consistency on refills and we have a winner winner chicken dinner.

Lot of fat. Biscuits and gravy-i couldn’t even cut the biscuit with a fork. Eggs over hard still had running egg yolks. Hashbrowns were great!

Fantastic food a a reasonable price. If you’re looking for a good quality delicious food that dosent weigh your stomach down this is it. I had the Rey’s Chicken which consists of rice, queso, and chicken. Simple main ingredients that made a surprisingly enjoyable meal. Highly recommend as I’ve always been impressed with the different dishes. Paired with the welcoming and friendly service it is always a great experience at Rey’s Family Restaurant

A great little family resturant close to Battlefield area on Republic road. Their food is very reasonablely priced also. A nice quiet place. They give you lots of food and their food is really good. They have a great variety of food also from all kinds of meals like breakfast food or dinner meals like yummy chicken strips or a tenderloin meal, and much more, they even have some Mexican meals. Something to make the whole family happy. You won’t be disappointed! We loved it. We bought 2 meals and drinks and we had a lot left over to take home some for later.

WOW! This was our first time eating here! And let me tell you that all of the staff are friendly and nice! We had Eliycia as our waitress! The cooks are extremely fast too. The omelets are huge and come with hash browns and biscuits and gravy too! Definitely needed a to go box! We will definitely be back! It was Saturday around 9:30 am and there was plenty of room

Average at best. Not busy when we went. Initial drink order was quick but after that it was slow. I asked if the tenderloin and chicken fried steak was made or frozen and was told they were homemade. Chicken fried steak was definitely not. Much of our food came out cold so their timing was off or it sat before it was brought out. Biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were hard. Reminded me of another restaurant with almost the same menu items but without the quality.
