From the friendly greeting to the amazing authentic, homemade, delicious Mexican cuisine this a true 5 star restaurant! I had the Carnitas tacos with beans and rice. Tender and favorable Carnitas for sure. Beans and rice rocked my mouth and soul.
My wife had the Carnitas Burrito and she could not put it down! It has a soft flakey tortilla and filled with nothing but love.
You can’t go wrong here and the salsa was sweet and loaded with extra love.
Thank you for a fantastic meal!
We will be back again with friends and ready to try another dish!

I recently went here on a weekend trip and loved it! I would recommend and would go back. The service was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the authentic style steak tacos, which come in a set of three with rice and beans on the side. We were also given chips and salsa to start. The food was delicious. The restaurant was right off of the street and had their garage open for more of an open concept. It was a well visited place, but was very clean, easy to hear and talk in, and with quick service. We enjoyed our time!

I made a quick little getaway to the metropolis of Galena and this cool place popped up on my restaurant search results. I’m glad it did because they made some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Authentic Mexican style….cilantro and onion. They were FANTASTIC. Not only was the food great, but I had two great servers/bartenders…Pedro and Dani. Great service. Great food. And what a cool looking place inside.
If my travels take me back to the area, I am definitely stopping back here.

Gorgeous decor,amazing service and the food was absolutely top tier! The tacos have so much flavor, the ground beef quesadilla was so much more flavorful than you would expect,the salsa and cheese dips were SO GREAT….very glad we stopped in!

I ate there and got sooo sick 24 hours after. The staff wasn’t even friendly and the atmosphere is bad. Everyone was rude and glaring at me. I felt uncomfortable and then got sick after eating the tacos. Highly recommended not going there. Also took forever to get my food! Go elsewhere if you don’t want to get sick.
Edit: if you look at the bad reviews she claimed I made there are none!! I post very good reviews on there places she’s just upset I gave her a one star review. Look how rude she was too. Very sad for an unprofessional if you ask me.

While I only ordered take out from Reyna’s (Galena, IL) I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I picked up my order at the bar. My order was correct, and the bar tender was very hospitable. The place wasnt crowded, and it seemed like everyone was enjoying the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Reyna’s if your in Galena, and you want authentic Mexican food.
