A quick and easy dinner with polite staff and a large menu featuring a variety of options. They have a vegetarian section, kids section, and lunch section in addition to dinner, appetizers, and ala carte offerings. There are several tvs to watch games. Fresh food and good service made a nice meal.

My wife and I stopped in Thursday night. Atmosphere, Service, and Food was “fantastic”. The steak was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and plentiful. Also the perfect amount of onions and cilantro. The best street tacos I’ve ever had. Tip of the spear. My compliments to the chef.

Saw this restaurant while driving towards our hotel after exiting I-95N. It looked festive from the street with outdoor seating, colorful umbrellas over the tables, etc. Also, we had our small dog, Tofu, with us and it was a great place to sit outside for dinner on what was an unusually mild
Summer evening. My wife ordered an Avocado and (grilled) Chicken salad. Very tasty and plentiful. I ordered Enchiladas Mexicana which had 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 cheese enchilada each with a different sauce. Wow, very flavorful. Service was great and the beer was cold. There is a good ice cream shop next door, too. This is a very good place, friendly, and not super high prices.

Rey Azteca in Fredericksburg, Virginia is a fantastic spot for flavorful, satisfying Mexican cuisine. From the moment you’re seated and served warm chips with fresh salsa, you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is bright and friendly, perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners with friends or family.

The menu is packed with delicious options, from sizzling fajitas to savory enchiladas and tasty tacos. The street tacos are a standout, especially on Taco Tuesdays, when they’re a popular choice for their bold, vibrant flavors. Everything is well-prepared and generously portioned—you definitely won’t leave hungry.

One of the best parts about Rey Azteca is the lunch menu. It offers a wide variety of combinations that are both filling and a great value. Whether you’re grabbing a midday meal during the workweek or meeting friends for a casual bite, the lunch offerings make it easy to enjoy a full, satisfying meal without spending too much.

Service is consistently friendly and efficient, adding to the positive experience. Rey Azteca has become a local favorite for good reason. If you’re in Fredericksburg and craving Mexican food with great flavors, large portions, and a menu that gives you a lot for your money, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Went back today to give it another shot. Much better. We enjoyed the nachos and the 3 combo plate. We had the enchilada, burrito, and chile rellenos, all beef. The only thing we didn’t care for was the burrito. It had shredded beef, but that was pretty much it. It was just beef and a tortilla with some cheese sauce on top. Everything else was good and added fresh jalapenos to the ground beef nachos. Service could’ve been better from the waitress. She wasn’t very attentive. Would I come back, yeah, but most likely would pick El Gran Charro over this spot. They have good food, better service and great prices.

I went to this restaurant two weeks ago and loved it! The food was delicious, and the service was great. They really take care of their customers.

I really like this restaurant. It has a great atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with smiles and asked if you want a booth or table. I like being ask as in given a choice.

I really like this restaurant. The staff is very patient and doesn’t make you feel rushed when you are looking at the menu. When you ask them a question, they take the time to answer it without any sense of urgency.

The salsa was great and the table chips came warm. I really enjoyed the guacamole at this restaurant. It was made fresh at our table and was amazingly delicious. We added onions, tomatoes, and I think peppers to the guacamole. It had a fresh taste, and the server brought out another bowl of warm chips.

I ordered the street nachos and wasn’t disappointed at all. The food came hot and spicy and large enough for 2-3 servings. The margarita was just right not too strong as in overpowering but enough to sip and enjoy with the meal.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu, especially the street tacos.

I think the prices at this restaurant are reasonable, especially in these times of inflation. It’s affordable for a family or a night out without putting a dent in your wallet. I really like this restaurant. The food is delicious, and the servings are generous. In fact, they are so generous that I usually have leftovers to enjoy later that night or for lunch the next day.

I like this restaurant. It is clean, with no food on the floors, sticky tables, or flies or gnats. It has TVs around the walls with different sports being televised. They also have a large bar setting.

I really enjoyed the food. It was delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. It’s definitely worth your time and money.

First time trying this place. Very good experience. Food was delicious as well. We tried nachos from the appetizer menu, street tacos, fajita salad, and kids beef taco. Good portions size and well seasoned. Nachos had a good amount of shredded chicken. Street tacos had a little too much cilantro for my liking. They did offer a 10% military discount.

I had the quesabirrias and they were very delicious. I was very surprised that rice and beans came with the meal.
The waitress didn’t come back around to ask if we needed anything. But regardless, the food was good.

Ray Azteca in Central Park offers plenty of dining options. The restaurant displays a pleasant ambiance and is very clean. The chips and salsa are tasty. The street taco platter is a good option. Also, the choirzo/chicken and the al pastor street tacos are very good as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. If you are in the area, give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed.
