Napoli sandwich is the best hands down!!! So fresh, mozzarella is DELICIOUS HOMEMADE! Literally dreamt about this sandwich and had to make sure I had it for lunch! And let’s talk about the service, I’ve never in my life seen people move so fast it was a full house in there and took less then 15 minutes for me to get an order for 5 people together and get me out the door during lunch time! I really have been hesitating writing this review. Just because I don’t want the secret to get out. By far the BEST deli in union county. First off, the cleanliness of this deli is IMPECCABLE. I have been ordering trays and sandwiches from Massimos for the past few years and have never ever been disappointed. SO reasonably priced. GENEROUS portions, nicest guys working behind the counter. I just can’t rave about them enough. Recently I waited almost two hours on Christmas Eve literally shoulder to shoulder with strangers for preordered trays…. Worth. The. Wait. High quality ingredients, amazing fresh motz I truly can go on and on about this place.

Picked up meat lasagna and eggplant rollatini trays yesterday. Both were the absolute best! – my guests loved them. Cheesy and very generous with the delicious sauce and meat. Got them freshly made so they cooked up in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!

The best Italian deli sandwich! Their award winning fresh mozz, chicken cutlet cooked perfectly, prosciutto, tomato, olive oil, fresh peppers on fresh crusty roll. Enough for 2. Service was excellent. The owners are funny and top notch. What a deli! Worth driving 4 hours. Highly recommend.

The best Italian Delicatessen I’ve ever experienced and I’m between NJ and NY. Nothing beats it. They have the highest quality food, use only the best ingredients, and offer A1 service. This establishment has been around longer than I can remember and has always been unmatched. From their fresh bread to their imported goods, nothing beats the flavor and freshness of their sandwiches and prepared foods. My brother has always disliked whole tomatoes and recently discovered how brilliant their sun-dried tomatoes are. Very special place.

Really I’d give this place 4.5 stars if I could. Everything I’ve had has been fresh and delicious. Great classic Italian gourmet deli. Maybe my only gripe is that they don’t have some normal deli items like potato chips and stuff like that. I don’t want tarrales with my sandwich I want chips. Also more expensive than most places but the product is very good.

Best sandwiches period. Great staff. Nice selection of Italian specialties too. MUST TRY THE RICE BALLS, ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND MEATBALLS ALL OF WHICH ARE FABULOUS, as are the other daily offerings ranging from pasta to chicken parm.
