With all the new burger restaurants and burger trends popping up, it’s easy to forget that you’ve already had access to great burgers for decades. Rex’s is exactly that place! The people are super friendly, the dining room is clean and not overly lit, the prices are amongst the lowest in town, and the knowledge of what they’re doing and how to serve it is excellent. These are my favorite onion rings anywhere. The only other two that come close are on Viking Ocean, Cruise ships, and Red $obin (but we know those come in on a truck from somewhere).

I order the bacon cheese burger and my boyfriend got the double cheeseburger platter. I genuinely haven’t had a burger this good in awhile! Everything tastes so fresh, I loved the crispy fries. Not a big fan of the batter of the onion rings, but were still very solid in flavor. Definitely going t be coming back! 10/10 would recommend.

This burger is one of the best green Chile cheeseburgers I have had in Albuquerque. First time here. I know I have been missing out on some yummy stuff! Fries were crispy and comes with a onion ring ! Yum! And a little dessert! I’d definitely recommend! Won’t be my last time And will bring the rest of the family very soon.

Guys! Blow this place up! I haven’t been here in years because I moved to the other side of town; today I brought my family to reminisce on the good ol days and it was dead. What a shame! This place is a gem. The food is amazing and the staff is great. If your’e a local you should come in to support. If you are visiting, try it for some of the best burgers in town. Try the steak strips , and definitely get a malt!

It cost 20$ for a double cheeseburger and fries, with a tiny plastic cup with the bottom lined with pudding. (This does NOT include a drink) (so bring your own) They have so much air freshener that the fries tasted like perfume. The burger was not worth the price, I only ate half, I was disappointed. Customer service was not the best, just eager to take your money.
