If you know, you know. This little speakeasy taco spot tucked away in an alley right off Central Ave (super easy access from the light rail) is a whole vibe. Blink and you might miss it, but trust me, you don’t want to.

We pulled up on a Thursday night for the $2.50 taco special, and let me tell you… it did not disappoint. The music was on point, the Tio Rancheros were flowing, and if it wasn’t a weekday I probably would’ve ordered another bucket. We grabbed a bucket of ice-cold Estrella Jalisco beers, which paired perfectly with the food.

The staff was super friendly when we ordered, and our tacos came out fast ! always a plus.

I ordered the carnitas and carne asada tacos, while my girlfriend went with the al pastor. These are street-style tacos, so they’re on the smaller side, but for that price on this side of town? You really can’t beat it.

The carnitas were a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but the carne asada was juicy and full of flavor. The al pastor tacos were really good too, especially with the pineapple. Big bonus points for the sautéed serrano on the side. I love my spice, so that was a major win for me. They also serve grilled onions and both red and green salsas (both on the milder side).

The vibes were super welcoming, and all the art around the space really sets it apart. Huge shoutout to Michael Lambard, the talented Phoenix artist behind the massive mural inside. That artwork was actually one of the reasons I wanted to check this place out in the first place. Glad I did.

Great music, solid tacos, cold beer, welcoming energy. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try.

What a great space, both indoor and outdoor! $5 beers, lots of places to sit, TVs for games. The tacos were good, maybe a little dry. The quesadilla was fantastic, definitely recommend. The rice was not good, plain jasmine rice not even fully cooked. Beans were good though! I’ll definitely be back for drinks!

We really enjoyed their open and relaxing seating area outside but their food was terrible. We ordered a Carne Asada and Pastor taco to try but both were not good. The asada was so dry, the pastor was bland, they topped it with sweet canned pineapple, they dont make their own tortillas and their salsa was as spicy as a jar of Pace salsa. Their service was slow and not engaging. Cool place to sit outside for a drink but its a hard pass on the food.

Stopped in on a Sunday and tried a little of everything and was not disappointed. The outside area was perfect and can’t wait to go back to try the drinks. The staff, food and atmosphere really made me feel like I was back home.

My husband and I have lived in Midtown, Phoenix for almost a decade – and this is the michelada and food that you cannot pass up. Our favorite spot closed during the pandemic, and this is just as good. An absolute must for drinks and food!!

Recently went on a trip to Phoenix and had a bite to eat at this restaurant. The ambience is great. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The tacos and beans were really good. I love the chorizo in the beans. Yum! I do not consume alcohol, so I was worried a bar style place wouldn’t be for me. Boy was I wrong, they had a variety of mocktails to choose from and carry my favorite Topo Chico w/ a lime of course. Really nice spot of your looking for a quick bite with friends.

I ordered the carne asada tacos with my bro Javi H., and we were both impressed. The meat was flavorful, the tortillas were on point, and everything tasted fresh.
Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were super reasonable for the quality. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or planning a full-on taco night, this place definitely delivers.
I’ll definitely be back.. might have to explore the rest of the menu next time!

Omg this space is beautiful! You wanna awe your date while keeping it chill? BRING THEM HERE! Also a great place to hang with friends and family. Plenty of seating.
The food is delicious. Small menu means they perfect the goods! I dont drink but caught a glimpse of some beautifully crafted cocktails. Prices are what you would expect for downtown. I perfer this place over taco boys and califa hands down.

Owner super chill.

Will be back.

What a disappointing experience. Really wanted to enjoy it. The food felt lazy and thoughtless. The chips came in a to-go box and included the teeniest amount of guac. The vegetarian tacos felt slapped together with no care. Love the location and want to support local businesses, maybe they need some more time to get things sorted out.

The food, was delicious, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I love the fact that you can sit outside and if you do it is so pretty. The drink from the bar really impressed me. I loved the Paloma, that added touch of the watermelon chile candy. So perfect!
