This place is crazy cool. Bar downstairs with great drinks, but the real fun is upstairs!! Brad is absolutely insane! In the best way possible! They have a vintage bottle shop, and the selection of what they have covers generations of bourbon and whiskey. They even have a tasting bar of a selection of vintage and newer bourbons, whiskeys, gin, tequila and even scotch. If you are in the Cincy area, or coming this way to visit, this place should definitely be on your list of places to visit!!!

No joke, THE best place I have ever been for a drink. If I lived closer than 5 hours I would never go to another place or another liquor store for the rest of my life (slight exaggeration but you get the point).

As someone who is obsessed with not only whiskey, but also the history of it, and who is also an antique bottle collector…this place makes me giddy like a kid getting to go to Disney World. I planned an entire trip around going here specifically, and it did not disappoint. The INSANE selection at this place is like nothing I have ever seen. You don’t have to dream or wonder about what it was like to have some of these bottles, you can try an Old Taylor from the 60s…a Jameson from the 70s…some scotch from the 30s…a Booker’s from 2025, some weird Swiss liqueur from the 40s, a skillfully and deliciously crafted cocktail…all of it is good. All at not just a fair price, but on some of these you feel guilty for just how little the owner is charging. $5 to taste something that just might be the last drops of the stuff in the world?…you cannot pass up that privilege.

Amazing drinks and prices, a bottle shops that is a time capsule/museum that you can take with you, a passionate owner that cares, amazing building that is set up perfectly, knowledgeable conversation with fellow geeks, this place has it all.

I am obsessed and I am counting the days until I can go back.

Bourbon drinkers, this place is a must! If you want a unique pour that won’t break the bank, stop here. If you want to splurge and sip on something several decades old, stop here. The then and now pour pairings are a great way to see how juice has changed over time. They have other spirits, too, and craft perfect cocktails with vintage ingredients. Brad is the Wizard of Old Spirits and the staff are just as knowledgeable and friendly. This place NEVER disappoints. Don’t miss the upstairs shop and intimate tasting bar.

You CAN NOT come to Covington or even Kentucky without stopping at Revival! Revival was my #1 stop planning my trip and it hit on everything. Everyone we met were just incredible people and you’ll never find a better deal on Vintage pours and bottles. Have a question and they will steer you in the right direction even handing you some history behind it. For a whiskey nerd like me I just loved that part. Do yourself a favor and get to Revival!

Stopped in to hear the Bluegrass band. Hadn’t been in before. Great service and was impressed with the very classy cocktails! They care about doing a good job with the drinks and shows. Hard to get a good gimlit most places, but here: perfection. I asked him why his like juice tasted so good and he showed me they make their own! Highly recommend!

Revival was an amazing experience. Being a big bourbon enthusiast I was like a kid in a candy store. You can tell all of the bartenders were passionate about vintage spirits and the history that comes with the process. Prices on all of the pours were priced fairly for the ages that were available. The atmosphere was great and it was like walking into the past and tasting the spirits of yesteryear. I will definitely stop in again the next time I’m in town. If you’re a fan of bourbon, Revival should be at the top of your list.

I had a blast here. Love the very knowledgeable bartender and other customers were friendly. You can have food orders delivered here, too.

I stopped in because it was on the way to dinner and it was new* to me. I had a twist on the classic Manhattan; with dark chocolate bitters and smoked cherry accents. The presentation and aroma made it even better.

*Opened Fall 2024 next to Hotel Covington

What an amazing shop! The upstairs tasting area is a unique experience, where else can you sample a whiskey from 1946 or a tequila from 1960? Revival is truly one of a kind. The owner and staff are incredibly knowledgeable about fine spirits and share the stories behind every vintage bottle. If you love whiskey or bourbon, this is an absolute must-visit.

Revival Vintage Bottle Shop & Bar is absolutely amazing. The store itself is packed with an incredible selection of spirits, with pricing options that truly fit every budget.

We spent our time upstairs at the bar and sampled four different vintage bourbons ,it was an unforgettable experience. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and just an all around great person to chat with while learning about what we were tasting.

The owner, Brad, stopped by and took time to walk us through the history of Revival, how everything operates, and shared his vast knowledge of every vintage bottle we sampled. You can immediately tell how passionate he is—not just about the product, but about the experience and the people.

I give Revival a 5-star review not only for the business itself, but for the way they represent their brand and for how much they truly love and take care of their employees.

This is an absolute MUST-GO experience. If you love great spirits, great people, and an unforgettable atmosphere—Revival is it.

I LOVE this place! Stopped in to grab a drink at the bar and experienced the Canadian Lights cocktail. It was seriously one THE BEST old-fashioneds I have had. Prepared with Canadian Whiskey and pure maple syrup and a surprise ingredient, it made my taste buds do a boogie.
Cocktail in hand, I walked upstairs to check out their spirit shop. It was such a cool space with vintage bottles, dating as far back as a century. If bottles could talk, I wonder what story they would tell. So interesting.
I ended my trip at the tasting station. You can actually do 1/4 oz pours at affordable prices. This allows you to explore several varieties of spirits, without hurting your pocketbook. The owner Bob, was so cool and knowledgable. He encouraged me to try scotch for the first time. Now I am on a quest to learn more.

Shout out to Bob and staff. My trip was fun and memorable. I plan to return soon and often.

Cheers!
