I just had the sweetest first birthday luncheon party for my daughter at this business. The owner communicated well with me via email, discussing food, layout, and sharing photos of the rooms prior to the event. Everything turned out great! The sheet cake was delicious!! We had a buffet and one of the dishes was salmon, which was probably the best I have ever eaten. It was so tender and flavorful. Christine, the owner, was again so pleasant and easy to work with. The business is a wonderfully preserved old house with beautiful ornate details and decor. I would highly recommend this business for future use (dinner or events).

This place is a gem. I have now been here twice and both times the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. It’s a beautifully restored home turned restaurant and it feels elegant, yet cozy.
The second time I was there with a pre-booked private party for our women’s association. They were wonderful to work with from planning the event to the end of the meal. Nearly everyone at the table declared that they wanted to come back with husbands, family or friends.
Check our Revival on Lincoln. You will not be disappointed.

Had a very solid experience at Revival on Friday evening. The place was busy, but a successful walk-in occurred just as we were arriving. They had a guy playing a keyboard in the corner. He was delightful and not too loud.
For our meals, we had the French Onion Gratin (soup) and the Cesar Salad. Both were good. The salad had white anchovies which were very tasty. We had the Chicken Marsala and the Walleye and Scallops. Again, both were good. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Finally, we had the strawberry shortcake which absolutely stole the show. It was moist and just perfection. Strawberry shortcake is not a dessert that I would typically get excited over, but this dessert was exciting.
We had several cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed. There’s a small bar in the back of the house that we would like to visit in the future. Dessert and drinks sound very nice.

This is an old Funeral Home converted to a restaurant. Very quaint building with historic designation. Service is absolutely outstanding. Katrina was exceptional, very accommodating and very informative. The mushroom appetizer with balsamic was excellent. Crab cakes were huge with lots of crab meat. Really enjoyed the apple fritter dessert. Creative cocktails. Highly recommend!

We had our 50th Class Reunion here on a Saturday afternoon.
It was lovely! The owners were so easy to work with and very accommodating. And the food was fantastic!! We had a couple people who are Celiac and they made sure most of food was Gluten Free.
I highly recommend Revival on Lincoln for any special occasion!

This place is a little out of the way for us, but we thought we would check it out for Restaurant Week. Revival, a restored mansion from the 1900’s, has so much character and charm. We were seated on the second floor at a cozy table for two right near the fireplace. There were plenty of options to choose from their 3-course PRW menu. The crab cake was amazing!! All crab, no filler, and well-portioned. Service was a little slow – we would have liked to have ordered a second round of drinks, but our waitress was handling most of the tables on the second floor so we didn’t get a chance to do so. I also didn’t like the fact that they automatically included 20% gratuity on our check. Seems a little sneaky – and if you aren’t paying attention (or had a couple drinks), it would be easy to leave additional tip on top of the included gratuity. Parking is a little difficult, too. We had to drive around for a little to avoid parking in the nearby permit parking only areas. All in all it was a great meal, but I don’t know if I would go out of my way for this place.

Revival is our favorite Pittsburgh restaurant. We have been dining here since they 1st opened.
The food & drinks are always outstanding. Chef John is a master at creating unique dishes. The food is so fresh & full of flavor. Every seafood entree is delicious & you will not be disappointed. There is always a vegetarian option. If I am not having seafood the chicken & steak has always been prepared perfectly. The menu changes weekly.
The appetizer selections are excellent. My favorite is the fresh seasonal salad. For dessert we love the cheesecake & lemon curd bar.
There is a full bar with plenty of wine selections & perfectly crafted cocktails. During the warm weather months we enjoy sitting outside & listening to music while we dine.
Everyone makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. All of the wait staff are great but Fred is our favorite.

Finally made it in after living just around the corner and I’m upset I didn’t stop in sooner. Food was fantastic- everything was super flavorful and generous portions. Drinks were top notch as well and I saw an extensive wine list. Our server was amazing. Super friendly and attentive.
Highly recommended this for any special occasion- with a special recommendation for their holiday dinners

Nice, one of a kind restaurant. Excellent food with rotating menu choices. Attended during restaurant week which was a limited menu but Seafood, Beef, Chicken, Pasta and Vegetarian was all available. Greens and beans were excellent. As was the Crab Cake. Delicious dessert choices. Shawn was an excellent server and knew his menu. Sold me on all of his suggestions.

Went during restaurant week so the menu was a bit smaller than usual but still had great options. The crab cake was phenomenal, no notes. The apple fritter 10/10. Alana was super knowledgeable about the building and the menu and also so friendly. Will definitely be returning!
My only, very minor complaint, is the two top tables. Feels a bit like cheesecake factory, smushed in there.
