I want to start by saying that I had been wanting to try this restaurant for over a year. The atmosphere was warm, whimsical, and inviting. Unfortunately, we only had time for an appetizer, but the hummus was very good. It was unique, topped with olives, cucumbers, feta, and a sprinkle of seasoning.
Our server was incredibly kind and helpful when I mentioned that I am gluten-free, which I truly appreciated.
While those aspects were great, the disappointing part of our visit was the experience with the rest of the staff. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet it felt as though we were inconveniencing the hostess. When we asked for a table for two, she sighed and said, “Fine, follow me.” The manager standing nearby never looked up from their phone when we arrived or when we left.
When we were seated, some of the kitchen staff were sitting in the dining room talking and using their phones. The hostess simply placed the menus in the middle of the table without saying anything and walked away.
If our server hadn’t been so kind, we likely would have left. There was also a gentleman manager that came by to ask how everything was, which his eye contact & kindness also made us feel better. Sadly, a place we had hoped would become our go-to spot in town ended up being somewhere we would not return to or recommend to friends and coworkers.

Cute restaurant, delicious food (try the fried Brussels sprouts) and wonderful service. Our server even gave us some great recommendations for other local spots to check out.

Excellent hangout for breakfast located right downtown by the Market Square. The interior is big and modern, super clean and cool with high ceilings and big windows for light. Our server, Brianna, was exceptional throughout the meal, and super friendly. One of us ordered the meat frittata and the other french toast. It was all good.

Absolutely loved our experience! Cory truly understands hospitality and took excellent care of our party of nine. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The entire kitchen staff delivered not only incredibly delicious food, but the presentation was absolutely eye-catching. Every dish looked as amazing as it tasted! The pricing is very reasonable for the quality you receive, which makes it even better.
The manager was engaging, attentive, and professional, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere.
Highly recommend! Revel gets 10+ stars from us — we’ll definitely be back soon! ❤️

Revel was absolutely amazing! We had Addy as our server and she was so pleasant and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. My food was delightful—those potatoes were perfectly seasoned and just so good. Would 100% recommend this place!

The Revel staff on the floor, in the kitchen, and behind the scenes made our weekend downtown so much more enjoyable. We felt so comfortable (with our large party) and our servers were extremely accommodating. The food and drinks were fabulous and we can’t wait to come back!

We came here thinking this was a little more upscale based on pics, dishes, and menu prices. Concrete floors and wobbly tables do not go well with $30 salmon. My partner stated the chowder was good, and the blackened salmon was decent. The rice was so salty, the asparagus was not cooked well at all. Very over priced for quality. Our server was very wonderful though.

Amazing meal! I was here on a business trip and decided to try this restaurant, which is adjacent to the downtown Hilton Garden Inn. I had the pierogies, Revel Salad and a crab cake. All were fresh and better than similar items I’ve had at super high end restaurants. The service was stellar as well. I wish I was here for another night. I might have to visit Pittsburgh again just to experience other dishes here.
