The food was amazing. The service was great. Our waitress was super nice and the food came out fairly quickly. The place was clean and it had an old time look to it.

When a customer does not eat their food because it didn’t taste good and was cold, you either ask if they would like something different or take it off the bill. You don’t say, “That’s interesting because everyone else who ordered this today liked it.” I have waitressed most of my life, and hearing that was diabolical. The food was dropped off and we sat there for 40 minutes without being checked on. Sitting, waiting for the bill while she walked by us multiple times without saying a word. Drinks empty. Finally, I got up to let her know we were finished. This isn’t fine dining by any means, but it’s still food service. Why are you questioning your customer, when they CLEARLY didnt even eat their meal, aside from a bite. Being rude is a choice. Pick your battles, or maybe pick a new job. Yupppp.

They only have 3 entrees on the menu. Fish and Chips $14.99 is the one I ordered. The 3 nice sized pieces of fish only came with 1 tartar sauce for free, otherwise it’s 0.75 per tartar. That’s chincy. New waitress was nice. Chili was good. Sprite tasted watered down.

The service was good – not the fastest but didn’t hover either. Only had time for a drink so didnt try the food. Colleagues said the good was good. If you’re looking for old-school bar atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed. The inside is a bit dark original (never been updated). The tables and chairs are adequate but basic. The bathroom could stand an update, but again typical for an old-school bar.
The parking area is undersized. Though the parking area/lot was full, there was plenty of room inside.

Stopped in for lunch here today with the family as we do every year. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. And at the end of it all you can never complain when you get your bill and realize that it was very good value too. This place is a hidden gem. Keep it up DCS!! See you next year

We had to get up and leave. We waited for well over an hour for food that didn’t come till we were ready to leave. Our initial waitress was very nice but failed to inform us that they were backed up an hour on getting food out to tables.
Drink was weak I ordered a long island and paid $12 for it.
Food arrived just as I was going up to the bar to get my check. At that point I was over it and ready to go. Woman (manager?) in red hat threatened me saying I was going to pay for my meal or she was calling the cops. I told her I didn’t want the meal at this point. And to call the cops. I had no problem paying for my drink and had gone up to the bar to get the bill for it.
We were told that we supposedly were jumped in line four tickets. However table behind us who came and was seated at least 30-40 minute after us were getting their food before us.
She was also really rude to my Aunt while she was paying for her drink like we were trying to stiff them for their drinks.
They should learn the meaning of hospitality and the art of communication. We were not expecting fine dining and the atmosphere was very nice. The waitress who welcomed us and greeted us when you we walked in was really nice as well.
Will not return here even though we had been wanting to try this place for awhile.

My family and I go to frankenmuth every fall before the craziness of Christmas comes out. & every year we eat in downtown frankenmuth & 99% of the time were forced to wait a stupid amount of time for mediocre food. So this past Saturday I asked my daughter if she wanted to eat closer to bronners to get home sooner. She agreed.
We came to Dead Creek & man am I happy. We will be coming here every fall moving forward. Their chicken tenders & ranch are INCREDIBLE! It’s your local pub it seems like a place the locals frequent and I get why. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly. & it was cheap! I can’t wait to come back!

This is a Great place to have a drink and eat some Good bar food! I love the atmosphere. The waitresses are sooo nice and attentive! Its just a nice place to sit back, have a drink and relax a bit! The burgers are delish! Nice Big and juicy! The French fries have good flavor! The pretzel appetizer is huge! Share it!

There was a line to get in which was fine, but then people started leaving the line like they gave up. After about 20 minutes of standing and waiting a waitress that just came in for her shift told us there is no wait to sit just go anywhere when about 5 other staff members saw us there and said nothing. Then once seated, the table that came after got waited on before us until a waitress said she was not sure who had our table and took care of us. Once we got someone to take our order, the staff was great from then on. There was a long wait for food, but the was really good.
