Our experience at Reva Indian Restaurant was truly remarkable. Every dish showcased authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients, making it one of the standout Indian dining destinations in Pittsburgh.

The Palak was smooth, well-seasoned, and comforting. The Paneer Lababdar had the perfect balance of creamy, rich, and aromatic notes an absolute favorite. The Goat Curry was incredibly tender, deeply spiced, and full of flavor. And the Bhatti Ka Murgh impressed us with its smoky char and juicy texture.

Reva delivers consistency, warmth, and unforgettable dishes that set it apart from many others in the city. Whether you’re a local or visiting Pittsburgh, this restaurant deserves a spot at the top of your list.

Highly recommended for anyone searching for authentic, top-rated Indian cuisine in Pittsburgh.

Wow! Just unbelievable everything! Every bite made me wish I had a bigger stomach! Portion sizes are good, Can’t wait to be hungry again! Wish we lived too far but we will make the hour trip back out this way to eat other things on this delicious menu! Absolutely outstanding! Every bite was packed with rich flavor and freshness.

We had ordered palak chaat, tandoori masala wings, Pahadi chicken tikka ,chicken dum biryani , Nanni chicken curry , Goan fish curry , bullet naan , rosemary naan , trio kulfi .

The food was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and incredibly satisfying. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the preparation. From start to finish, it was a delightful experience—definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in recent times. Highly recommended, and I’ll be coming back for more!

Best Indian food in Pittsburgh – hands down. I have always ordered food from here but had my first dine-in experience with them today. Everything we tried was packed with flavor, and you can tell the spices are fresh. The staff is warm, patient with questions, and happy to customize spice levels. Save room for desserts. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and service is quick.
Must try: Dal Bukhara (I include it in my order every single time)
What we tried: Goan fish curry, Nizami Handi, Dal Bukhara, Mint Truffle naan, Goat cheese naan, Laccha Paratha and Palak chaat.

This place is recommended. A few positives and a few negatives.
The negative…
The service… We waited about 10 minutes before our server came despite being the only ones in the restaurant. We didn’t get a water refill, no check-in after the food came and to top it off, they charge a 20% tip automatically with parties of 5 or more. The portion size was too small for the cost. This all needs fixed.

The restaurant has a pleasant decor but the benches are not the best if you want a seat with back support. There were no regular seats. The restroom was in need of cleaning.

The positive…
The food… It was delicious. The Bullet Naan, Goat cheese Naan, the Murg Tikka Masala (Chicken) was excellent and the Butter Chicken is the best in Pittsburgh! The Zacrani Malai Tikka was divine. This is a steal from the Mediterranean playbook as it was an Indian take on Kebab. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit and would return, but this place needs to fix the errors.

Food is delicious , especially tandoori kabab.
In veg entree, paneer wasn’t good, paneer was more like a hard eraser than soft cheese.
Service could be more attentive ⚠️
No back support for Seating & very noisy environment.
No serving spoons.

My husband and I love coming here for lunch! Their food is delectable. We got the manchow soup, chicken noodles (Indo-Chinese style) and the tandoor (Bhatti Ka Murg). We also enjoyed chai and mango lassi. I have never enjoyed Indian food more. The manchow and noodles are soooo tasty. The chicken is super moist, I always worry tandoor will be dry but theirs is not! Just be aware that the spice level skews SPICY! We’ve had level 5 (of 10) before which is crazy spicy, so we like level 3! The chai and mango lassi were also perfect.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh. This place has become my go to place for Indian food. Every dish is cooked with perfection and great taste. The ambience is amazing, clean place and great music.

They have a good combination of dishes with options for vegetarians, non-vegetarians, Indo-Chinese, desserts and drinks.

Must try: Nani Chicken Curry, Chicken wings, Jalapeño Samosa, Butter Garlic Naan, Shahi Tukda, Gulab Jamun, Chicken 65, Nizami Handi, Paneer Kati Roll, Veg Hakka Noodles.

March 2025-The food is tasty and perfectly cooked the way it is supposed to be out of the tandoor/oven. The kathi roll was good. I liked what I ordered for home delivery.
I had previously ordered Pahadi Paneer tikka and didn’t find it good because the paneer was hard. Paneer/Indian cheese should be extremely soft

Old review-Loved what I ordered. It’s hard to find a restaurant that knows how to cook Indian appetizers perfectly and this place does it perfectly. The chicken malai boti was tender and perfectly cooked. And I liked the salmon tikka and Nanni chicken curry as well. I believe the prices here are a little higher than what one would expect but they’re worth the taste, quality and the final outcome! Need to try more of their dishes and will update here!

If you’re in Pittsburgh and craving some amazing Indian food, you have to check out REVA Modern Indian Cuisine. The vibe is casual and relaxed, but the food is next-level. Every dish looks gorgeous and tastes even better, with flavors that are perfectly balanced and full of punch. Whether you’re a fan of Indian food or just trying it for the first time, there’s something on the menu that’ll wow you.

What’s even better is that the prices are super reasonable for the quality you’re getting. You can enjoy a fantastic meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend giving it a try!

The food was amazing with lovely presentation. i had lamb kofta, the sauce was creamy and flavorful with perfect tender lamb. I didn’t love the atmosphere of the place, it was all long tables with direct overhead lighting so it felt cafeteria style and not super cozy. It would be great for large parties though and the food was so good it makes up for it
