Accidentally found this spot thinking we were going to Sunnyside Diner next door 5 minutes before 2pm thinking we were late about to be told they were about to close To our surprise, Kirby, the bartender welcomed us with open arms. Shortly after, they brought out this sweet and savory popcorn that we devoured (when I say we, I mean me). It was delicious. They have $5 Mimosas and a great Taco Tuesday/Happy Hour menu. My frien and I visited for about 3 hours while catching up. Won’t be making a mistake next time we visit.

For me, it was just okay. Very Americanized Mexican food. I ordered empanadas and they came out looking great, but the chicken inside was so bland it could have participated in January 6th. The service was very good and the place looks cool. The food just needs a little more seasoning.

I received recommendations for this place so we decided to try it out one Friday morning. The atmosphere was pretty fun and lively but the food was seriously lacking everything. I ordered the Chilaquiles, it came with lots of chips and hardly any egg. I like to try Chilaquiles when available however this is by far my least favorite place for it. They also bring popcorn instead of chips, that was different.. and not in a good way. What’s worse, they don’t serve coffee but don’t allow outside coffee? I hadn’t planned on bringing my own coffee as I assumed they sold coffee there but was annoyed to learn that they prohibit outside coffee when they don’t even sell it to begin with. With that said, we didn’t have a horrible experience but it wasn’t memorable either.

Service was great and food came out pretty quickly. We had this at an event that they catered and were anxious to try the full menu. We tried the Queso Fundido which was tremendous. Served with chips (right amount of thickness and crunch) and fresh tortillas. Great way to start the meal. I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, meat was cooked well and was great. It also featured a fresh cooked Jalapeño which was the spicy I like. The kiddo had a burrito which was huge and gone by the end of the meal. The wife had the empanadas which were tasty too. Elotes were good and the refried beans are extra tasty. We will be back.

I am from NYC and was visiting OKC with my daughter and she said wanted to try Birria tacos. Many of the Mexican places we looked up didn’t have them and then we found RevMex so we gave it a try. We loved everything! The popcorn was addictive, the chips and salsas were flavorful, and we had the mango shrimp ceviche as an app which was delicious! My daughter LOVED the birria tacos and my el pastor and carnita tacos were soooo good! The corn tortillas were so light, fluffy and fresh, some of the best I’ve ever had! BUT THE STANDOUT of the entire meal was DAVID, our server. His suggestions and friendly conversation and professionalism was 10/10! I hope management knows how lucky they are to have him! When I come back to OKC next month I will definitely be back, and will have to try some margaritas next time too Thanks for a great meal and experience.

Having walked by on a few visits to town, I had the expectation that this was the kind of taco place where you order at a counter, can only get bottled drinks, and maybe had a salsa bar. Instead a found a more sit down restaurant experience with decent service and excellent food. I had the steak which came with fresh corn tortillas and black beans. I don’t like places that charge for chips and salsa but I lucked out that during happy hour it’s free. The spicier salsa had an odd flavor but the regular salsa when mixed with it was great.
Highly recommended if you’re nearby and I’ll likely visit again for a burrito since I was struggling to choose between it and the steak.

I recommended this restaurant to a large group of my colleagues and we all had dinner here. The service is very quick and concise with your orders. They are very good with their drinks. I had the birria tacos myself and they were authentic and incredible. I want to say we had a group of 11 to 12 people and our ticket was max of $350. The atmosphere, it’s just as amazing as it’s food.

Our first time here around noon with maybe 4 other tables occupied. The vibes were great, but our food and service left something to be desired. The rice and tacos had little flavor, and while they were decently sized and looked good, not much seasoning. My shrimp taco was supposed to be Nashville spicy and was not at all. The chicken in my husband’s fajita chicken taco had no marinade or seasoning. Our service wasn’t bad per say, she wasn’t overly friendly either, more like bare minimum. They serve popcorn which is kind of quirky, and we ordered the usual chips and dips and they were the best part of our meal.

Good food, great service. This is one of our go-to date night spots. Baja fish tacos or crispy cauliflower tacos are delicious. The Stoplight appetizer is a hit. They have seasonal/rotating margaritas that are always good. We have really enjoyed the servers over the years, good folks. We’ll be back! FYI, the AC is strong inside (works very well) so if you’re cold-natured, bring a jacket.

Rev (formerly Revolución) is one of the best spots for Mexican food in a city filled with great food options!
The tacos are made to order and cooked to perfection, the menu has great variety, the drinks—including their selection of margaritas and beers—are on point, and the atmosphere is a total vibe. I had the fish tacos this time and they were fresh and flavorful, as always. The slaw was crispy and the tortilla was warm and exactly the right texture.
I’ve always experienced great service at Rev and love the unexpected twist of seasoned popcorn served at your table when you arrive.
And when you go, don’t sleep on the chips and queso.
