We love having a coffee shop nearby and it’s becoming a habit to pop in and get one almost daily! The owner Carrie is so kind, as well as the other baristas we’ve met. We’ve never had a bad coffee or treat here. They stock local small business items which is great. I’ve seen items from Vortex, Waynesville Soda, local tea and craft businesses, and it’s fun when local creators come (got some cute candles and such from Chaos Collective here). The sourdough bagels and treats are some of my favorites. While there has been a couple rotations of shops in this location, I think this one is my favorite yet and we will continue to be supporting them so they can stick around!

I’m so happy to have stumbled across this place! They opened recently. Excellent coffee, nice vibe and easy to get to. I had their Rosemary Cinnamon latte and an everything danish. Soooo good!

What a wonderful little coffee shop! The food was great, the coffee was wonderful and the customer service was fantastic! They have a small section of retail items that all support local businesses. They have a large parking lot and free wifi, which worked great while I was getting some work done. Check this gem of a place out!

I stopped into Retro Coffee a few months ago after not having stepped inside for a year or so. I was impressed with the cozy changes that were made and surprised to learn of fairly recent (this year) new ownership. Over time this has become my go to coffee shop! It’s one of those places where they know everyone’s names and favorite drinks. They create random drinks that i think up for myself. And I love that they support local artisans whenever possible. This little coffee shop is a hidden gem

Always try new coffee shops when I’m back in Asheville to visit friends. Stopped at this little local coffee house and was feelin the retro vibes and delicious drip coffee. I think they source beans from Coffee Library a local AVL roaster. My kids picked up a pastry and we got a sticker and enjoyed Asheville coffee all the way home. Thanks Retro Coffee!

We personally weren’t fans of the flavor of coffee beans. Added flavors felt like they were competing with the beans to be noticeable. It’s a cute place, just not for our tastes. I am almost certain it’s just the beans for us, so give it a shot if you’re curious. You might love it!

Honestly the best coffee I’ve had in Asheville! Carrie is absolutely lovely and welcoming! I never know what exactly I want when I come, but she always creates something for me that I end up loving each time! She’s so creative, and I appreciate that she takes the time to do that for me!

Tons of vegan baked goods! Creative seasonal espressos like Honey Nut Cheerios. Nice staff. A few places to sit inside and outside. Oat, coconut, and almond milk but no soy.

My fav place to get a specialty coffee in our area – I got one of their vortex doughnuts yesterday and that was also delicious. They always have creative and thoughtfully-considered seasonal drinks that are SO GOOD. My favorite right now is the caramel apple butter.
