Me and my daughter just stopped in for the first time and got burgers here and let me tell you wow! I had the Philly cheesesteak burger, and talk about flavor. That thing was amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time.!! One more thing it says you close at 6 but you really close at 5:45 to clean up. Maybe change the hours here online to that you don’t serve at 5:45 and that you close at 5:45 .

I had been hearing some buzz about this food cart. I will say the food was good 8/10 stars. The poor lady working, who I assume was the owner, seemed very stressed making comments about not being able to handle the people. We got there as she opened along with 5 other customers, she was stressed. Foor took about a half hour to get after ordering and we were the 3rd set of people in line. We were on lunch break and all of us were late getting back to work. Overall the food was good, but not amazing, wait times too long, instead of a fun happy place to eat I just felt guilty for having made more work for this person. Also it was a rainy day and though there are tables, there is no cover so we ended up popping the trunk on one of the suv and standing up eating under there to get out of the weather. That being said, it’s a take away, eat in your car, or sunny day only kind of place for eat in.

I’ve been to Boston twice now. Both times, the food was FANTASTIC! Be patient if you go during peak or busy times, as there’s usually just the owner whipping up these great burgers and fries. Very much worth stepping away from the norms and make the drive up to Columbia Heights. ⚓️

Great burgers and chicken sandwiches. Crispy fries and interesting drink selection. All made fresh without a long wait. Owner takes call in orders as well. Highly recommended.

The food here was the only win for me. Decent burger and portion. However the seating was a little to be desired, outside on a picnic table. Did not feel welcome approaching this food vendor though, there was one lady working in the truck, as soon as we approached the order window she immediately exited the cart and ran food to a waiting for car? She didn’t say anything to us, no “I’ll be with you in a minute” welcome, nothing?? She then returned seemingly very annoyed that she had more customers? I thought she offered a salutation “Hello” but she was answering the phone? Still ignoring her present customers?
Then she just stood there staring at us like (whadya want?) I felt like we were creating more stress for her, she almost seemed annoyed that there were more customers to serve? We ordered and waited pretty long for our food considering that there was no other customers awaiting foo?, upon receiving food there was just a (here you go) , no enjoy your food or have a nice day? Nothing?
Retro B needs a lesson in people skills? I will not be back.

The young lady that waited on me and made my burger was very awesomely sweet and nice.The food is fantastic.What a wonderful cheeseburger , without all the hoopla , just a cheeseburger with lots of flavor thank you so much for making my lunch time enjoyable.
