We waited 15 minutes for anyone to come to the table. When she finally came back to take our order, I had a question about a menu item. She said, just a minute. Her just a minute turned into nearly 10 minutes, only to find out they didn’t even have the item I asked about. So we finally got to order. It was a very simple order: 10 tacos for 3 people, my 3 were to be no onions. Over 30 minutes later, she brought the tacos for my son and his girlfriend. Nothing for me. I waited at least 10 minutes before she walked by our table and asked her if I was going to get my food. When she finally brought it, there was only two tacos and they had onions on them. I told her I ordered 3 tacos without onions. It was difficult to get it across to her what my order was supposed to be. She finally brought my third taco as I was about to go to the take out counter. This was at least made correctly, but I still had the two tacos with onions. I had had enough at that point. I went back to the counter and told her I wanted the check now and that I wasn’t going to pay for my three tacos. She had to get someone else to finish checking me out. I definitely will not be back again.

Good food, good prices, screaming 3-4 year olds running around the restaurant like it’s a playground. Not for a minute or two, but until they wore themselves out. Maybe that’s why we were the only customers there during the lunch hour on a Saturday.
Owner response indicates a customer brought the kids but there were no other customers. I was a kid once and have raised three kids and none of us ran around a restaurant yelling. No one showed any concern for how it would affect the customers.

I went for the tacos because they seemed to be straight from the trompo, but the order is prepared inside and the truth is that it does make a difference in the flavor. It wasn’t what I expected. I drove to South Omaha for some trompo tacos and in the end the flavor of the meat didn’t seem like it came from the trompo.

I got the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and it was great. As someone who used to live in Texas, I find a lot Mexican restaurants in Omaha are subpar, but San Luis went above and beyond my expectations. The rice and beans that came as sides were delicious. The salsa they bring out for the table has a great heat to it. My friends ordered huaraches, burritos, and tacos, and they all loved their food as well

This will always be my special spot. Always went here with my Dad until he moved away. The waitresses are always sweet, the food is delicious, and it always arrives promptly and deliciously consistent. Love it! Friendly atmosphere, very professional, and the salsa is seriously the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could find salsa this great off the shelf. I’ll never stop coming here. Keep up the awesome work!

At the beginning the chips weren’t fresh,the food quality had a lot to desire mainly if you are paying almost $30 per plate, Don’t eat the sea food,my party of 6 got food poisoning, my husband sea soup supposedly had frozen crab that was questionable the receptionist lady said it look moldy because it was frozen, moldy?, the sea food party plater had a lot to desire from it, we shared it between multiple people but they brought two shirmp cover in bacon that was cook outside but was not cook inside not eatable when we send it back they never apologized nor bought out new ones well cook, my mom’s enchiladas shells was over cook and were hard to eat and guacamole was too overly salty, when we bought this concerns to the waiter she completely disregarded them and instead turn the music up, too much that we couldn’t even talk with each other. The place had a lot of flies flying around, the place was not sweep and the restrooms doors weren’t functional. There was no soap to clean your hands, worst place to eat at, never again.

It’s a really good place to eat. From tacos to Parrilladas. I hate the fact its smaller. But the food is awesome. 2 of the waitresses are fantastic on making sure you are good and keep checking up on you to make sure you are doing good. The hot sauce they bring out is SPICY.. Its so good. I have been here a total of 4 times and I absolutely love it.

This was my first and last time coming here. I’ve should of looked at the menu before but I order a burrito w an horchata. The salsa was way to watery from the start and the horchata as well. The plate looked alright . But the meat you could tell it was cooked previous days before. It wasn’t the best to be honest .
