My husband and I were so lucky to book a table at this wonderful restaurant today. The setting is idyllic. The colours, the atmosphere and the wonderful setting make this place unique. Our waiter was lovely and chilled; we felt no pressure to rush at all. The dishes we ordered were delicious. Please do book this place – it’s just perfect.

Ponto Final exceeded my expectations, 5 starts just isn’t enough. The experience of sitting next to the water with a gorgeous view is something you can’t get everywhere, and for the price we paid for our meal which was very reasonable, it was so so worth it. We got octopus salad, oysters, grilled sole fish, mackerel, rice and bean stew, and house wine and it was all incredibly delicious. The food was so fresh and flavourful, I would go back in a heartbeat!
Knowing that the restaurant opened at 12:30, we arrived at 12 and there was a lineup already of about 15 people. After we got seated I did not see a line and there were tables available. However this was a Thursday in late October so I can imagine you may need a reservation if it was summertime.
I did find it a little difficult to get to (driving wise and physically), I was unsure what to expect, there are a lot of stairs down to reach the restaurant but again so worth it. If you have a car, you can park in a garage about a 15 minute walk away.
The gentleman who served us was the same waiter that served Phil on “Somebody feed Phil” ! I don’t know his name but he was so awesome!
Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, it really was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon. If you have a chance to go to Ponto Final, GO!!! You will not be disappointed!

This is a discovery worth making. Tucked away near Cacilhas, Ponto Final feels like a hidden gem — homey, cozy, and full of comforting, old‑school flavors. The journey there adds to the experience: you can take the elevator, though on the day we went some people got stuck, so be prepared for a possible wait (or walk down).

The food is straightforward and delicious — the kind of hearty, familiar cooking that makes you want to come back. It was my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last. The house wine is a solid choice. I didn’t try dessert because I was too full, but it’s on my list for next time.

Price note: we spent about €40 per person, having ordered two bottles of the house wine between us. It’s a bit pricey, but the atmosphere and the food make the trip worthwhile.

Final thought: treat it as a small adventure — the setting, the service, and the flavors all add up to a memorable meal. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The veal and pork ribs were amazing – the meat was so tender it just fell apart. Service was good and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. The only downside was that the fries were quite salty. Definitely make a reservation, as it gets very busy. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and well worth visiting.

This was really an iconic experience. We made reservations months ahead of our trip. It is expensive but worth it in my opinion. We got the shrimps and it was the freshest and most flavourful dish ever. The monkfish stew was ok but the portion sizes are huge. It says it’s for 2 people but it’s at least for 4. The server won’t tell you that. They were able to make me a virgin mojito and charge around €3 for it which I thought was good. I would highly recommend the shrimps. If you plan on doing for sunset dinner then definitely dress warm and take blankets. Best way to get there is uber to the location and the uber drops off near an elevator and you take it down and it’s a short walk on your right.

We caught the catamaran between lisbon to the Ginjal. Nice and fast ride in between. We have a great experience at Ponto Final. It’s difficult to get a reservation but the get a walking as well. We wait around 45 minutes to be seated. Mean while when we to the Elevator Panoramic Boca de Vento to enjoy the views from there (stunning scenes). Server did a great job. We started we some fresh Oysters, Pork salad, octopus whole shrimp and small fry fish. For entry we ordered grilled dorados. Fresh seafood was just amazing. Waiting time paid off.

Absolutely stunning spot and atmosphere, we booked via email the day before and they luckily had space, we had octopus and cod fritters for entree the octopus was so tender, I was not a big fan of the texture of the cod fritters but the flavour was nice. We ordered the ribs and veal cheeks for mains they were huge portions the veal was delicious very tender slow cooked yummy gravy, the ribs were also very tender and very delicate flavours my husband loved it. We were unable to finish our meals we could have shared one between us. Would recommend. Useful info there are a lot of stairs to get down but there is an elevator for anyone who has issues with stairs ( I added a photo of elevator)

I’ve been meaning to visit Ponto Final ever since I saw it on Somebody Feed Phil. For reservations, I had to email at least month before and we went for lunch at 12:30, which is when the restaurant opens. You just wait your turn and they’ll come seat you. The view is beautiful and food is so fresh. It was the perfect meal. We had the grilled sea bream, bread, salad and the chicken giblets with blood rice. The sea bream was the highlight for me and the sauce it came with! The serving size for the chicken giblets with blood rice was very generous and it was very scrumptious. It reminded me of a Filipino pork blood dish called ‘dinuguan’ which I also love.

We couldn’t make a dinner reservation for several months in advance so we settled for 12:30 lunch time on Wednesday. Weather was perfect and we got a best table by the water. Amazing view of the bridge. Spicy shrimp was not spicy but extremely delicious. 10 large ones! Baked fish was amazing as well. Service was good and friendly. I can’t even imagine how beautiful it is during sunset dinner.
