We asked for it to be hot, thinking it would be mild like most places in the U.S., but it was actually spicy and we loved it. The flavors were authentic, compared to other Indian restaurants on Via Argentina, Maharaja stands out as a great choice. Tried Mutton Madras, Malai kofta, Maharaja dosa and all were good.

Food was amazing! We all loved our dishes. Very flavorfull. The restaurant itself can use a little reset. But other than that, amazing experience!

The website and review sites don’t do justice to this place. I am Indian and can tell you the ambience is great, clean and the food is fantastic. The service was fantastic as well. If you are in Panama City and craving for Indian food this is the only good place

My wife and I come every now and then specially when we want comfort food-like lunch. Maharaja does a good job at asking their clients the hot intensity that they would like in their food. The vegetable rice and the lentils are a must order

Extremely good food, smelled amazing, tasted amazing, just overall great food. Our server was very nice and willing to explain the menu to us. The food was clearly freshly made, and I’m glad for it, it was just brilliant. Amazing, authentic and I would recommend it to anyone(especially the butter chicken, chef’s kiss!)

The food was deliciously authentic and the service was excellent. The best Indian food I’ve had in Panama. We ate all the food right up!

Had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was tasty and well prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive.
To my surprise, one of the waiters spoke English, which made ordering and communication very easy and comfortable.
Overall, a pleasant visit—I’d definitely recommend this place and would visit again if come back to panama .

Food was not good. No salt in any of the dishes we ordered. 1)Chilly chicken should be little spicy and tender but this chill chicken was fully roasted and sweet 2) Idli sambar and chutney: idli was very hard and sambar didn’t have any salt so couldn’t taste sambar, coconut chutney was just ok, funny taste 3)Maharaja dosa: Again no salt at all in the masala stuffed inside(potato).
Service was ok and food was not at all ok. On top of that it’s expensive for the quality of food they are servicing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Authentic Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. I’d put it up with any Indian food I’ve had anywhere else in the world (UK,US, Iraq…). I loved how large their selection was. Not shy on the spiciness which I greatly appreciate when trying somewhere new.
