Very welcoming. All staff were friendly and attentive.
Lovely atmosphere next to the harbour.
Food was nice, only downside a couple of us was served cold chips and the pepper corn sauce I had ordered was late coming so the steak I had was cold before I could eat it.
My wife’s fish was hot but the accompanying potato and leak sauce was cold.
We were served fresh hot chips with apologies. Shame about my steak and fish sauce☹️
On the hole a nice restaurant and friendly staff, worth a visit.
I had very nice piece of monkfish and my fellow diners went for the cod. We all agreed the meals were good but lacking in presentation, they could especially do with some colour on the plate, ie veg.
We enjoyed sharing a banoffe pie and a portion of the acclaimed cheesecake for desert.
The food was not very nice at all. Quite a wait, around 40 minutes, which was ok because I reasoned it’s freshly made. We ordered Fideua Ciutadella (2 person min) Cod in Leek Sauce & Grilled Squid. The Fideua was ok, well presented in the pan and then served up on a plate, but not astounding, tasted really of absolutely nothing. TBH for the price we paid for this I was expecting something special. Husband’s grilled squid looked beautiful on the plate, however was cold on arrival. He was quite ill once we got back to our house and the squid quickly returned.
Again the staff were friendly and the place seemed quite nice but I would say save your money. My expectation for a smart harbour-side fish restaurant was that this would be a safe bet. No one wants to be ill on holiday.
