If you ever find yourself yearning for a truly unpredictable dining experience, look no further than this “restaurant.” The food here is like a thrilling game of culinary roulette—you never know what you’re gonna get. Take the two main dishes, for example: the menu said “Tomato and Artichoke Pasta,” but what arrived was a delightful surprise of truffle and mushroom. Clearly, the chef believes in keeping things interesting, even if it means serving you something completely different. It’s like they’re playing a game of “Guess What You Ordered” — and you lose every time.
The service is mediocre and I’m pretty sure the only thing they’re trying to hurry up is the time until their shift ends. But the real highlight? The chef. When your meal arrives cold, half-incorrect, and suspiciously sad, you’d think a “sorry” might be in order, right? Nope. Instead, the chef will give you a full-on therapy session about what went wrong in the kitchen—without an ounce of apology. It’s like they’re trying to convince you that you should be understanding of their mistakes.
If you enjoy waiting around forever, cleaning up after yourself, and dining in a restaurant that is constantly surprise. Bon appétit!?

Super restaurant really blew me off my feet. The service is incredible one of the friendliest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The vibe is super cozy and the food absolutely fantastic. If you are ever looking for quality German food you have to check this place out. I would highly recommend getting a salad as a stater it was super delicious and as a main the Zwiebelrostbraten or Schnitzel (if you get this ask for some of the gravy on the side it’s perfect). And you can’t go wrong with any of the deserts my favorite was the chocolate tart with mango ice cream.

We had a wonderful experience having dinner here. The building has been beautifully restored which creates an amazing atmosphere and our waiter was so nice and made our evening perfect! We had a reservation and every table was full the night we were there. There were four of us and our total bill with entrees, beer and wine plus one appetizer came to 185 Euros. We thought it was very well priced. Highly recommend having dinner here when in Stuttgart.

What a Gem in one of the oldest buildings in Stuttgart. As a fantasy and medieval Nerd the location set the right triggers.

The menu offers from classical swabian dishes to a fine dining menu a wide range of culinarily experiences without having to much overwhelming stuff. I had the 5 course menu representing Cans experience in several top restaurants. The wine menu is rather small but with some good choices and will grow in future.

The Service was friendly and I really appreciated that Stefan and his team asked after the third course if they should slow down with serving or keeping up the pace.

Long story short – it was phenomenal from the Aperos to the Desert.

Looking forward where the journey headed to.

The building is extremely cozy, and well renovated.

The service was good. And they didnt harass us at all with questions, extremely professional.

We had the Steak Rossini which i believe was the special of the day and it was scrumptious, the foie gras, mashed potatoes, steak and sauce were all cooked to perfection. The almost 50 Euros price point was high but worth it.

We also had the Wiener schnitzel with fries. The fries were too oily/greasy and frankly disgusting. The schnitzel itself was clean and well cooked but a bit bland and felt unsalted.

We got a soup and a main course. all really good. Staff really friendly. Very good beer. It’s not cheap and quality price ratio is not optimal. But i would recommend if you wish to eat Swebian. The atmosphere inside is really cozy, with very small rooms in a very old style.

We had a most wonderful experience tonight at this cosy restaurant. Stefan gave us great service. We were tired and hungry after a long day at the Christmas market. But when our meals arrived we woke up immediately as it was deliciously excellent!

If you’re in Stuttgart, make sure you book a table to have a nice dinner at this restaurant. The house is a piece of history, and the food was delicious. You can take the S-bahn from the central train station and walk few minutes to reach the restaurant.

Simply amazing (eating in the 2nd oldest house in Stuttgart). Service is great and always comes with a smile. The food came on time, not too fast or slow. It’s moderately priced, I wouldn’t consider it cheap, but the atmosphere is great! The food was great! Everything we had was fresh and very tender. I was very surprised! I really suggest you take the time to go here. It’s worth a 30 minute train ride!
