Whew. Amazing place for the end of summer -you can eat on the bridge overlooking the waterway. The catch of the day was Norwegian Salmon. Done perfectly, and perfectly complemented. And the dessert, a lemon lime mouse, I am not sure how they did it, but it was all soft edges, none of the razer sharp tartness you might expect with that ingredient list. Found it by walking by. Highly recommend.

Great setting, concise, creative menu and efficient service – perfect for a week day lunch.
We were only given the drinks menu upon request which was a little odd as we were looking forward to study the wine menu but other than that 5 stars.
The evening menu looked delicious we and will definitely be back for dinner.

Loved it. Me and my wife went without knowing the place, but was really happy we did – we were greeted by a very friendly staff and it felt like we were visiting freinds. We stayed for 3 hours, enjoying the fabulous food and wines and just had such a good time. The restaurant is located downstairs, next to a canal and have a very cozy atmosphere. They even made the toilets a pleasant visit with beautiful tiles on the wall. I can highly recommend it and will definitely come back when visiting Hamburg in the future.

We had a shocking experience at this restaurant. The food was nice but at the end of the meal we saw a mouse underneath our table that made us feel disgusted and very uncomfortable and disappointed. We told the waiter and much to our surprise he answered “this is normal to have mice in restaurants in Hamburg, every restaurant has this.“ We left speechless.

Beautiful location especially with a glass of wine sitting right on the water. Friendly, perfunctory service. And for Hamburg, a good cup of coffee too! Very reasonable 3-course lunch for euro 26. Nice mix of German and European food with a focus on seasonal ingredients on the daily menu.

Really enjoyed the food and found the staff to be friendly also. The location right by the water is also really nice. It’s a bit more pricey but the portions are pretty big, so no one will be leaving hungry.
