Reussbad chez Thomas in Luzern is a local spot just below the Muggmauer where you’ll see neighbors catching up over lunch.
I had veal rolls and tomato spaghetti that were tender and satisfying without being heavy. The place has a calm energy with sunlight streaming through windows and a low hum of conversation.
It’s a good spot to reset before exploring again. Arrive before 12:30 if you want a quieter table, as it fills up fast with locals.
Service is brisk but kind, making lunch here feel easy before you head back out into Luzern’s old streets

We’ve visited this restaurant twice, once six years ago and again recently, and both times we had an amazing experience. The menu was excellent, the food quality was top-notch, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. I’m definitely planning to return next time I’m in Lucerne!

I’m a seafood lover and I’m so happy that this resto offers fresh giant lobster menu. The food is delicious and the refreshing drink between meal (blueberry yuzu) is amazing! The service is friendly. But the price is quite pricy but you know high price with high quality of food

A wonderful place. Cooking with heart and soul. Some minor flaws but overall it was a wonderful evening. Great foie gras. Great excellent risotto with porchini mushrooms. Weakness the home made bread. Too dry. Homemade rilette lacked seasoning. Loved the chocolate and pastries. Almonds cake was fabulous. Great people and service. Nice little wine list. Worth a visit. See you soon

Delicious food, wonderful service! Best meal I had here in Lucerne and probably in Switzerland. Highly recommending this restaurant.

High level Michelin rated restaurant with excellent service, good dishes, good wines, extremely expensive, we paid > 270 Swiss francs for 2 people (wine just by the glass) sitting at a miniature table, could await more generous space at these prices

This was an absolute delight. Even if prices might seem on the higher end, the value for money is veryvery nice.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, no matter if it was the wine selection or a smaller mishap that happened on our end.
I had the beef tartar and ordered it spicy. In other restaurants it’s far off spicy but the cook managed to season it perfectly for my taste. Tartar was a little chunkier than usual but I wasn’t bothered by that. I was also able to try the baked mushrooms – which were done perfectly. Nice crust yet still very juicy and a very nice sauce to go along.
Also ordered the beef stroganoff, which was definately in my top 5. I especially apprechiated that there was more than enough sauce which often is not the case.
The dessert was just astounding. Although the portion seemed a little big (after all the good things already eaten) this was the best Sabayone that I’ve had so far.
Only downside was – as we were seated outside – the light went down quite early and I usually prefer to have a little better sight on my plate. Nevertheless we had a very nice evening.

Amazing dinner here !! Food absolutely delicious and came with 3 little ‘free’ amuse bouche. It was really so delicious but on the expensive side: we paid FR 190 for 3 courses and 2 glasses of wine each. But worth it and friendly service too!

Food and experience were both great, I ordered the beef risotto with mushrooms and they were amazing. Service is also very nice, and we received some starters compliments of the kitchen. Expensive for a student’s budget but for a treat, it’s really worth it!
