The interior of the restaurant exudes a chic and elegant atmosphere, with a color scheme of navy and white. The lively ambiance suggests that it is a popular dining spot. We began by selecting a red wine from the wine list. Once we had chosen our appetizers, main courses, and desserts, the course meal commenced.
The marinated salmon appetizer was beautifully presented—a true feast for the eyes. We opted for both fish and meat dishes, and each was exquisitely flavored. We also ordered a cheese platter, which featured some unique and uncommon varieties. The pairing of the red wine with the dishes and cheeses was simply outstanding.

Absolutely fabulous!!! You have an amazing and friendly staff in a very charming location with well presented food and they take risks, creating different recipes. I just had the best Foie grass on Earth, and one of the best desserts too. I don’t even remember anything else to compare. The prices are very affordable and the restaurant is immaculately clean and charming. When you think about Bordeaux, French food, wine don’t be in doubt, this is your perfect choice!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and for sure we will return many times!!!!

Dinner at Restaurant Le Saint Julien
I had quite high hopes for Le Saint Julien. While the food didn’t quite wow me, everything was well-executed and up to a good standard. The langoustine dishes, both starter and main, were especially well done — fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced.
A creative touch was the warm white asparagus served in a glass with a straw — fun in concept, though I think it might’ve been more enjoyable with a spoon.
The atmosphere was elegant and modern, and a nice surprise was the chef coming out to greet each table personally — a warm and thoughtful gesture.
The only small drawback was the presence of a few flying insects during our dinner, which became a bit distracting at times. Also, parking was tricky, as we had to find a spot along the street in a residential area.
Overall, it was a pleasant meal with a few thoughtful touches, even if it didn’t quite reach the level I’d hoped for.

I am very disappointed with the level of the food. I heard high praises with regards to the restaurant and expected a great experience. Service was good and nothing to complaint, very cordial and we were the only one’s for dinner. What completely disappointed us was the food for the price, completely off. Very simple and not tasty food in my opinion. There were several flies flying around us during the whole dinner, very unpleasant. The sensation was that I felt robbed for dinner, would never recommend this place. Unfortunately it was the only thing opened. The only thing I loved in dinner was a very nice pate appetizer.

It was perfect!!! We didn’t have a reservation. But they found us a table. Chef’s best dishes! Blue lobster, fine meat, best cheese…. Just perfect! You should definitely visit it! We come again next year!

We walked in to beautiful decor and ambience, so we were looking forward to a great experience. However, we found the service to be rushed and condescending, especially by the Maitre D’. We were told we could not have the three course lunch option, only the two course. The food was good, but our experience was greatly diminished by the rushed, unwelcome, and almost rude service. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for a prix fixe of €65 for two lunch courses.

Beautiful restaurant but unfortunately ravioli was undercooked (not just Al dente) and both the lamb and pork were over cooked.
Setting is lovely, staff were friendly but the food didn’t deliver. Except dessert – chocolate fondant was perfect.

Really lovely lunch! Beautiful surroundings and beautifully prepared food. I had the blue lobster grilled over the vines from the vineyards. It was quite a dramatic and special preparation. Delightful service! Very much recommend if you are the area.
