Ordered 4 pupusas with Frijole, Queso y Jalapeño.
Received all 4 pupusas with pork, no frijoles or Jalapeños…. after waiting hours for my meal.
As a vegetarian, I am extremely disappointed and hungry. There was a lack of accountability when I called. I had to assure them several times that my order was wrong, as I was looking at an entire meal I could not eat.
Won’t be back.

This place is a gem! Friendly atmosphere, welcoming owners, service was quick, and the food was delicious with plenty of vegetarian options. I ordered tamales de chipilin, zucchini pupusa with jalapeno, Guatemalan potato tacos, beans and rice, and sweet platanos. It was all so tasty, but I think the tacos were my favorite, they reminded me a bit of flautas, perfectly crispy, yum. I feel so lucky to live in a city like Chicago, with neighborhoods like Belmont Cragin, where you can get a taste of different cultures and cuisines, and meet your neighbors out in the community. I’ll definitely be back to Latin Patio soon!

My first time visiting this restuarante, it’s a little hidden. I pass this restaurant every other day not knowing that it was til a friend suggested we ate here and gave it a try. The pupusas were delicious with the rice and black beans on the side. We had Garnachas as an appetizer and those too were great. The service was great, the server was kind and friendly.

This was not our first trip to the Latin Patio and it certainly won’t be our last!! You’ll get a taste of latin culture as soon as you enter the door!! The Food is always delicious and the restaurant is managed by nice people! We always feel comfortable when we eat here!! The pupusas are amazing and I recommend trying anything off of their menu!! On this recent trip, Mom ordered the Revolcado ( Guatemalan curried pork stew served with Rice) and I had the Paella Guatemalteca ( there was enough for 3 people — be prepared to share it!!) We enjoyed what we ordered for dinner!! Fun Times!!!!!!

As others have stated, services is slow. With that out of the way, these pupusas are nothing short of incredible. Coming from a salvadoran family, I’ve searched far and wide and these easily rank amongst some of the best I’ve ever had. The curtido could use a little bit of improvement, but the pupusas are most definitely strong on their own.

Latin patio is super good I love their pupusas, their beans are so good tastes just like my grandma used to make! Their mixtas are amazing as well a bit pricey I feel for just one but honestly once you try it , it’s totally worth it, can’t wait to try other plates! Definitely recommend going and trying this place out. They have made me a loyal customer

Really liked this Restaurant. Kinda of small but they also have extra space next door for rental. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, saw around 7 people for about 8 tables. The food is good, first time trying Cental American food, tried popusas and it was good, tried plantains in like sauce and I’m not mad at it and also tried Salvodaranian tamales, it did not disappoint. Overall 5 stars I would go back.

I ordered from this restaurant through GrubHub. This was my first time having food from this restaurant and even though the pork did not arrive in the presentation that I was expecting, everything was absolutely delicious!
