If it would be possible I would like to give 6 stars. The service amazingly friendly and the food quality outnumbers the price. To make a reservation is mandatory otherwise you will not get a seat. The menu is small but still offers enough choices. Next time in Avignon definitely will come back again.

The food here is fantastic. Fresh and homemade. The gazpacho is so complex and refreshing, a perfect blend of fresh high-quality ingredients. The duck main course is superb—one of the best duck dishes I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio with honey sauce is creative; the sweetness of the honey somehow works perfectly well with the thinly sliced high-quality beef, paired with fresh carrots and bell peppers for a crunchy herbal garnish.
The hostess is an elegant British woman, whose French husband is the highly skilled chef behind the scene. The husband-wife team clearly poured a lot of love into the food they serve at this cozy homey restaurant. The atmosphere is very intimate. The restaurant is small so I highly recommend you book ahead of time. During the theater festival they’re often times booked out many days in advance, but if you’re lucky enough you might get a table because someone else canceled last minute. Anyway, I highly recommend booking in advance!

The best dining experience we received on our month-long European honeymoon! The owners (husband & wife team) make you feel so special and welcome. I made the reservation a month before our visit and the owner welcomed me with open arms and congratulated my husband and I on our marriage. Her energy is unmatched. Her husband’s cooking… I don’t even know where to begin but it was the best meal we have ever had. I truly hope we will get to come back in the future! Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

We got gazpacho to start with which was the best I have ever had. Then for the main course my husband got pork and I got duck, good wine by the glass, raspberry cheesecake and chocolate crème brûlée for dessert.
It is run by just a couple and they have had it for 15 years. Only 12 tables max a night so make a reservation! It is worth it 🙂

Today is me and my wife’s 29 years anniversary. We traveled from Paris. This is the best food we had in France till now. Veal liver is great! And lamb saddle with red wine sauce, fish with mashed potato are so delicious ! Thanks for the great food and service!
