As tourist we were out enjoying the city after a canal cruise and decided to stop for a little something to eat. This location from the street looked warm and inviting and we were not disappointed. The fare was simple but welll prepared. We sample a local specialty, the Dutch Butter Balls, as well as the calamari. The food was tasty, served hot and the service was quick.

We visited this place on a Thursday night. There was plenty of seating, although we were directed to a table, we did ask one waiter if we could sit at the back or in a corner as we had our 11 year old with us, so we wanted to be tucked away a bit. We were met with a sharp no.
We sat at the table we were directed to and then asked a waitress if we could move to a more appropriate table behind us, she agreed.
We ordered two orders of steak and chips and one order of fish and chips. The meal sizes were average. The food wasn’t spectacular, it wasn’t horrible, it was cooked. The meals were €20 each we each had one coke and ordered one some of onion rings at €12. The bill came to €90 which was quite steep.
The female staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean and the decor was creative.
There were lots of choices on the menu for lunch and dinner.
We were able to pay by cash which was an added bonus!
I would say that the restaurant was quite high in price, I would imagine the location factored into this!

Stopped by this restaurant while crawling the streets. It was really cute inside, but the service took forever and they did not have any Gluten Free options for one in our party. He ended up getting sick after taking a best guess at food, which is not the restaurants fault but rather disappointing compared to other venues in the area. Overall the food was fine, but nothing special.

Felt a bit small.
The salad that comes with it is very small.
A slice of tomato so little lettuce not really a salad.

Stopped for a quick beer, stayed for the bitter balls. The staff were friendly with excellent English, The beer was a reasonable price for a major city and the bitter balls were excellent, hot, tasty any not bad price, we sat outside and the atmosphere was amazing.

The dish presentation was quite ok, but the taste… NOT! It was a good waste of € 29.50, for some Salmon & Chips… the “garlic sauce” was a cheap commercial sauce, which tasted like the -,99 cent sauce from Aldi… and the chips were dry, tasteless. ♀️

We encountered a very incompetent waiter, he was wearing glasses. He didn’t even know what kind of hot chocolate they served. He also approached us while we were still drinking our drinks and insistently asked us to pay the bill, as he thought we might just leave.
