What an amazing restaurant! Everything about this place (amtosphere, service, food and wine) is fantastic. The interior is beautiful and warm both with home decor and Georgian touches. There is plentiful seating inside and some limited seating outside. The service is so kind and welcoming; it is clear that the team takes pride in what they are doing.
The food is home-made and delicious, nothing super exotic, but a great match with the ambiance. Everyone could find many wonderful choices from appetizers to desserts. The wine list is great and meets all tastes. Staff is very passionate about wines, their history and taste nuances.
Highly recommend to visit and enjoy the incredible experience.

The restaurant is built on sprawling chateau grounds with a hotel and it looks absolutely beautiful with its garden and its vast wooden terrace and classical brick interior. The food is excellent from ingredients and presentation and everything. The assortment of wines is nice. The servers are very polite and helpful. There’s even an honorary Latvian consulate and an honorary Portuguese consulate here.
My only criticism is the parking. There’s only four parking places for the restaurant and if you’re not a hotel guest you probably won’t be allowed to park inside the gates, which means you’ll have to walk a half kilometer up a relatively steep incline all the way from the street from outside the gate. If you’re not a local athlete, then you’re going to be sweating and uncomfortable by the time you get to the top. And they’re not going to bring you a towel.
The parking attendant is a rather grumpy man that doesn’t wear his shirt until there’s a customer to attend to and then orders you around and does not give you a pleasant feeling while you’re parking. This dramatically detracts from what would otherwise be an upscale experience. They could easily remedy this by telling him to be cheerful and by having an electric golf cart and letting him drive people up the hill so they don’t have to labor and suffer, which is unbecoming of such a fine dining and hospitality destination. If I were in charge here, I would buy a golf cart immediately — means tomorrow itself without delay — and I would retrain that parking attendant to be the friendliest person on the planet or else replace him, because I wouldn’t want to spoil my reputation with tourists. A warm wet towel as mentioned would also be a nice touch.

Я не знаю как описать визит в этот ресторан. Мы не были настроены оставить там какое-то количество денег вообще. Но на входе нам попался человек по имени Валерий. Он не то чтобы сделал наш день. Он сделал наше путешестие в Грузию! Организовал дегустацию вкуснейших вин от европейских сухих до неподражаемой вишнёвки и чачи! Игристое от местной винодельни и портвейн, хоть и не являются традиционными для Грузии, но реально бесподобны! Валерий, огромное Вам Мадлоба! Это не может измеряться деньгами, это что-то высшее! Это останется в нашей памяти на всю жизнь! Это бесценно! Спасибо Вам! С любовью к Грузии и ресторану Chateay Mere, Николай и Ольга!
