I eat and make ceviche regulary, this restaurant is underrated. The price is worth it if you appreciate the work that goes into great quality and flavor. The olive sauce is delicious, and the ceviche flavor is top tier. Thank you to Achahila Lounge Bar for the recommendation, definitely worth it and I am very satisfied.

Chabuca has not only delicious Peruvian dishes but also very good desserts. I had a “jalea chabuca” which is recomended for two people, but from my experience it could also be for three. As a dessert I had a tiramisú which I really enjoyed.
If you want to taste good Peruvian cuisine you should go to Chabuca.

Super cozy and enjoyable restaurant. We enjoyed a fish with potatoes, salad, and a shrimp fried rice. Well priced and inviting ambiance.

I had big expectations about the food here. But it was a big failure, I specifically asked for spicy Picante, even the waitress warned me, but when the food arrived it was not spicy at all. I asked the waitress and she confirm that the Cheff didn’t put any spicy in my dish. Big disappointed. Don’t try here, even if the waitress asked no one really knows if they respect your decision. #shameChabuca / after review facts 1st the waitress ask me about the level of spicyness of my PICANTE ( I order medium) 2nd I ate all the dish (I even bought another dish) 3rd when I asked about the spycyness she mentioned the possibility to add spicy mixing the PICANTE with your LLAJUA (But this is not the point to visit a Peruvian restaurant?) Right?

The food was below average, and the price was very high for the quality and quantity. The pineapple juice tasted like water. We ordered a seafood platter for 145BOB, and most of them were sweet potatoes and corns. The seafood was very rubbery, I guess ordering seafood in a country that doesn’t have the ocean wasn’t the best idea. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

The food was good, it’s not the cheapest place but there is a nice selection of savory and sweet dishes as well as coffee. The only problem was slow service, the restaurant was basically empty but we had to wait for everything, the menu, to order, not a good impression.

Chabuca is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant and it’s pretty good. They give you pisco sour as a courtesy drink! Other than that, their food is well prepared but the only problem is that in La Paz and generally in all of Bolivia, finding fresh sea food is really difficult. Therefor a lof the dishes this place offers, being seafood based, is not really fresh.
