The food was delicious and heart warming. Specific dishes were exceptional … The Canadien Pierrade is worth every penny if you are an adventurous eater. And the soupe a l’oignon was impeccably good… you can’t go wrong with a giant slice of texas toast with melted cheese on top for a “crouton”.

And the service? Was beyond hospitable, friendly and sharp. They do an exceptional job of having a family-run atmosphere with professional and accurate execution.

We can’t wait to come back!
Great for Gluten Sensitive and Gluten Free.

We visited this restaurant for dinner today and were very pleased with the service, which was excellent throughout our meal.
Everything we ordered was either very good or delicious.
The only drawback for us was the dining room environment. The concept allows guests to cook on a hot stone at the table. However, the ventilation and exhaust systems were either inadequate or nonexistent. As a result, the dining area became quite smoky, and when we returned home, our clothes had a strong odor of grilled fish and meat.
This was a significant negative for us personally, but for those who are not bothered by this aspect, the restaurant may still be an enjoyable experience.

The salad appetizer is not worth the money, lettuce and some carrot with sauce and a few chunks of tomato and I think it was $16. The dinner was awesome as we got the hot stone. Expensive but I think worth the experience as you cook it yourself on the hot stone. My partner got the French onion soup to start and he enjoyed that. I had a dessert the parfait and it was delicious. Service was good! They had lots of options for me as a celiac. Overall a pleasant expensive experience.

Unique dining experience with dinner on a hot stone. So many choices common and unique. I had the beef, chicken and seal. The seal has the texture slightly similar to liver BUT DEFINITELY NOT the taste. It’s very good. Duck leg was deliciously tender. Dessert we had a cherry compote and a tiramisu.

The food was good overall, but I was not impressed by the onion soup, it lacked cheese and onion. The pierrade stone grill was a unique experience and entertaining in its own way. They had a different variety of meat and seafood to choose from. The service could’ve been better though, we waited a long time (approximately an hour) while they were serving the other customers who ordered after us.

Fun stop that the kids loved. We came for the hot tops (fun and great experience for the kids) and discovered a delicious sugar tart and the tastiest potato dauphine I’ve ever had. Had to go back for seconds (and thirds).

Warm staff and vibe. Worth a visit.

Great small restaurant! Not really close to our place in the village but worth the drive! They have one particular menu with hot plate on which you cook what you order as much as you like! Some medium some well done! Edge of the town with good parking lot! Good wine selection !

You truly made this New Year’s Eve unforgettable. We’ve been coming to Tremblant for four years now, and every NYE has meant standing in the cold, waiting in long lines for village restaurants that—at best—are just okay. But this year, we stumbled upon C’est La Vie and booked a reservation just days before.

The hot stone cooking experience was such a fun and memorable twist—our kids (11 and 15) absolutely loved it. The food was outstanding, the service warm and attentive, and the pricing was more than fair for a holiday evening. What a refreshing change. Thank you for elevating our tradition.
