Nice surprise.
I stopped out of nostalgia for a recent trip and was clearly not disappointed.
The restaurant does offer most of the soviet classics and all seems to be home made.
The dishes are basic and savory (this is not a critic but more of a compliment, simply do not expect taste unmatched and too powerful).
A good stop if you want healthy food or want to discover a new culture.

We went to this restaurant out of curiosity, we were blown away. It was so good. The staff were so kind. They were also very kind to our dog, which is always appreciated.
We went for dinner and returned the next day for lunch. We also got a to go package to eat at home. We had borscht, pelmeni, and golubtzi (cabbage rolls). All were good, but it’s the golubtzi that really stole our hearts. Amazing.
It sounds like a joke, but it is not: my partner is planning a road trip to Orange again so we can eat here again.

Long time I was looking for eating Russian food and more specifically Pelmeni.
I didn’t get disappointed! Nice service, the woman who has serve us was extremely kind. The pelmeni was delicious! And the atmosphere on point !
I recommend if you wants to discover traditional Slavic cooking.

A very nice place for satisfying the crave for comfort food. The kitchen is open until late, and the decoration is really interesting.

I needed some nutricioius warm food while in Orange on a dancing festival and came here 3 times for the soup and some pierogi. Kept me going for the whole night of dancing.
The food is great, staff is super kind and the cook came to say hi personally. Lovely place worth visiting for a good eastern european quisine.
