We were visiting from New Zealand. I ordered the Octopus, my partner ordered the Tuna & his brother whom we met in Wien ordered the seafood risotto. I tried all 3 and can honestly say each dish was the best I’d ever tried. I don’t usually like risotto but it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly – best food in Vienna!

Service, food and presentation were perfect. It’s a little bit expensive but the fresh fish , recommendations and friendly staff are totally worthy. We were really happy with everything and they did a special dish for the children out of the menu, what else could you ask for?

Everything started promising, as the place had a good environment, personal were helpful with the coats and the fish Vitrine was a plus.
After some time waiting we manage to place our order (or so we thought). We then needed to asked for the wine list, as no one asked us for the drinks.
After some time (30 min) we received our appetizers. After that, it was just downhill. We were setting 30 min or so for the second appetizer, until one waiter asked us again what was our order. We said it, and repeat it at least 3 times. Then they dissappear for an additional 40 min until we received our mains (one appetizer was missing still from my menu).
Later we informed one waiter that one appetizer was missing, which then they offered an extra desert. Or so it seemed. When I left the restaurant I had an additional item (not ordered or eaten) charged.
I had big expectations about the place due to the reviews and I was willing to pay extra for a good experience. At the end, just feelt overpriced for the overall service. At least the food was good, but it was hard to enjoy it properly.

Don’t be down on their prices. The fresh fish are delivered daily from Croatia! Food, wine card, service – everything is excellent here!
