The whole dinning experience was full of ups and downs. The dinning area must be under renovation because the booths were in the middle of the room which was a little strange. There also was no music or anything playing, so the restaurant was just silent and it made a quiet conversation seem loud. Service started slow, but once we got going it improved.
As for the food, we got the 3 piece cod fish fry and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The fish had a tempura type beer batter that was very light and the fish itself tasted very good. The fries were also very good. You get a soup or salad with the meal, and we both picked the clam chowder. It was awful. Oh, and no beer on tap!
Overall, the atmosphere was weird which makes it hard to want to come back, but I think we might give them a try for breakfast.

The place is humble but the flavors are powerful. I got the Mexican Benedict (with chorizo and avocado)and the eggs were perfectly cooked, just delicious. Everything is cook at the moment, so that adds points to this. At last, my chocolate milk, but that was just ok. Big portions for a decent price. Love this place!

The service is absolutely HORRIBLE zero customer service skills after being told to just find a seat (party of 5) and waiting about 15min the cook(maybe owner?) brought us water, coffee and menus tolds us someone would be over to help that never happened so I went up to ask to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one so I proceeded to tell the person behind the bar we’ve been waiting now 30min for that person to tell me that we’re busy and someone would be over when they could. Needless to say we just left. This was my first and last time there it’s not that big of a restaurant that they can’t keep up or greet, even acknowledge your potential customers. To the owner find yourself some new help hire a manager or make yourself present.

Today found a hidden gem in Cudahy. Great food, great prices, down to earth service. Lots of locals just having breakfast and hanging out in a non-chalant way. Bilingual Staff, family owned. Had the Mexican Skillet with Chorizo. Had to wait for the order to come out but it was made to order and I am okay with waiting an extra 5 minutes for fresh food.
Still after 5 months one of the best breakfast places in town. Very attentive staff, lots of locals and delicious food at great prices.

A comfortable atmosphere. One of the best fish fries I’ve had in awhile. Staff is friendly and helpful. Especially, Jessica, the very capable server that took care of us. We will return.

Great breakfast spot. Had the veggie omelette and asked for egg whites which they were able to accommodate. Food was hot and delicious. I recommend the homemade salsa with the omelette, has a nice kick. Will be back!
