We were just passing through Blackduck while traveling highway 71 and decided to try this restaurant. Service was prompt and generally pleasant but the food itself was rather bland and maybe a little warmer than room temperature. Still, it was better than average – the tator tot skillet was certainly different than most breakfast dishes. We were constantly stared upon by other patrons, presumably because we weren’t locals – made for some awkward moments.

The food was delicious! We definitely recommend the tator tot skillets And get the muffin as a side – they serve it warm with butter, and it’s so soft, it just melts in your mouth! The staff was very friendly as well. Overall, a great experience! We’ll be back next time we’re in town 🙂

I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here with friends. The menu is considerable, with plenty of choices. The beef in my hot beef was tender and delicious, someone else said it was like prime rib. The table service was very prompt and friendly.

This place is a hidden gem!! Excellent food, cooked exactly how I like it, perfect every time-hats off to the cook! Waitress was friendly and restaurant was clean and cheerful. Will definitely be back!

Good food, good service. You can’t go wrong with Stuffed hashbrowns and pancakes. This place was an oasis for us today after leaving red lake in 1° and white out conditions with no heat in our truck due to the blower motor going out. Fixed it in the napa parking lot and replenished our souls at this lovely little roadside establishment.

Over all pretty standard minnesota dinner fair. Burgers were slightly overcooked for well done. Fries are battered fries so extra crispy a highly recommend. Server was attentive and fast.

Food was good until a hair was found. Cook argued, but didn’t have a leg to stand on; beard very bushy and long and didn’t have it covered!
Restaurant clean, waitress was good. There was alot of us, she got the orders right and was willing to put up with us.
Have the cook cover his beard and we will be back.
