I honestly hate leaving bad reviews but this was to much bad not to share. My boyfriend and I have been trying to go here for quite some time, but it’s expensive. So we bit the bullet tonight and boy, we were extremely disappointed.
We ordered to go, maybe they just care less about those orders.
First disappointment was that we were missing the sauces that we had to pay for, but noticed they were all over in the restaurant (so free if you dined in).
Second disappointment was our appetizer. For $16 we ordered the 3 pig wings. These were either overcooked initially or flash fried multiple times today, pictures included. They were inedible. My boyfriend NEVER leaves food on the table, that’s how bad they were.
Next was the sitting-around-all-day Mac and cheese. Again, inedible and we tried! Picture included.
I ordered the brisket grilled cheese, the meat was so dry and with no flavor…My cheese wasn’t even melted onto the sandwich, just a huge disappointment. (Probably would have been better had the sauces been included)
Last thing to point out was the coleslaw, I believe it might just a mixed bag of cabbage with no dressing or seasoning.
The food portions were the only decent thing about this meal, also pictured, but for spending near $70 for two people, this was a huge miss and we definitely will not consider trying again.

Oct 2025: “I like pig butts and I cannot lie”. A very good BBQ and bar. Good variety of meats and sides like baked beans, corn muffin, Mac n cheese, etc. I had the 2 meat platter with brisket and pulled pork. Both soft and delectable. Choice of many sauces to top off.

One of the best bbq places we’ve eaten in. My wife and I shared the 4 meat platter which was excellent, and plenty for two people. Waitress Lilly was very pleasant and helpful. She recommended the pastrami with their special mustard for our 4th meat that we couldn’t decide on. It was awesome! Also their sweet potato waffle fries were the best we’ve ever had! We would highly recommend this place and wish we had a restaurant like this near where we live.

Then, we split a 4-meat platter, choosing chicken, pork, ribs, and brisket as our meats, with BBQ beans and potato salad as our sides. We also ordered a side of sweet potato waffle fries and cornbread muffin.
Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had!! The meat was cooked to perfection, and we had our choice of 6 sauces to squirt on them.
Their extensive whiskey selection enhanced the birthday man’s meal!!

We absolutely loved being greeted by the most wonderful and warm people- the menu was amazing and the delicious brisket bowl and meal were to die for! We love that Chuck and Val put everything they have into their love for this place they built together- loved it! Will be back!

Excellent service, and the offerings are unique. The bacon wrapped meatballs in particular were amazing, and the brisket I ordered was very good as well. Sauces are different than anywhere else I’ve been (in a good way) – they are hit or miss though, the apple & IPA ones in particular were good but the spicy was not quite there. Lots of choices which is nice to see!

First time visitor on my quest to experience all sorts of bbq! The reviews were spot on. Food was very good. The meat was great. Ribs were very tasty. The brisket was so tender you could cut with a fork. A major good surprise was the jalapeno chicken sausage! Just a hint of jalapeno but you knew it was in there. Potato salad, beans and mac cheese all solid. The only disappointment was the coleslaw was pretty bland. Will definitely return!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with more the 20 of our family and friends at the emd of January. Chuck, Val, Casey and the rest of the team at ResQ reserved us a couple of tables and the corner of the bar, served a catered selection of food, our favs included brisket, pulled pork, green beans, the freshest fruit kabobs and really good caesar salad. My husband loves the jalapeño poppers. The service was amazing. Casey kept track of our crew and took good care of them. No waiting required. Chuck was responsive during the planning process, set-up the food and provided everything we needed. We didn’t have to ask for a thing. When I started to think, it’s time for cake, he approached to ask me if we were ready for cake. It was a special celebration and we are so grateful they agreed to host it!

Went here for the first time today with my oldest son who just got his permit. Food was delicious, and our server Lilly was friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. We got the BBQ Quesadillas as an appetizer, and I got the Pitmaster Burger with Bacon and Avocado and my son got the Italian Meatball Sub – everything was amazing! We’ll be back again!

Service was excellent. We loved the squash soup special that Casey recommended. All the food was excellent. It is hard to pick because everything is so good. We also appreciate the gluten free options due to allergies.
