Y’all. I actually FINISHED this burger AND ate tons of delicious fries. Don’t get me started on the fried pickles and jalapenos… I learned to like pickles like a year or 2 ago and have been getting them every place I go. The spicy fried jalapenos are a must. My friends got the lemon caper pasta and highly recommended it. All the cocktails we had we’re delish too ty for the amazing service too I literally got a hug. A HUG YALL. Best friday ever

This place is a muse. It convinced me to take my poetry and photography to a new level. This experience was art by design :
The Monster in the Corner
I walked into Republic Social House alone,
A black man with a camera, a heart made of stone,
Not by birth, but by the weight of the stares,
The weight of the whispers that lingered in the air.
I chose a table, absent of friends,
January’s chill felt like it would never end.
A Caesar salad, a Georgia peach to taste,
But the sweetness soured, left bitter waste.
The waiter, polite but cautious and light,
Moved as if shadows dictated his flight.
Did my presence disturb, my lens offend,
That I’d see beauty in what they’d apprehend?
The chef, an artist, her creation divine,
Ignored my praise, my voice, my time.
Yet her salad stood tall, a fleeting shrine,
A work of care that wasn’t hers, but mine.
The eyes around me burned like flames,
Disgusted murmurs, untamed disdain.
A black man alone—a threat, a fear,
A monster hiding in the corner here.
Was it my camera? Was it my skin?
Or the solitude I carried within?
For to sit alone in society’s glare,
Is to carry the burden of being unfair.
I took no guard, I posed no harm,
But still, they gazed with silent alarm.
A man, a monster, a shadow, a thief,
No art could erase their disbelief.
And so, Republic Social House remains,
A place of judgment, of silent pain.
Where even a Caesar and peach in hand,
Can’t make a black man less contraban

I plan on coming back soon to try more options so that I can give you a better review. I think the menu is really sufficient for a bar. They have more than the average and the plating looks great. My wife said she had fried green tomatoes that were just OK And the bar vibe was just OK. I only ordered two sides. The kale and the green beans-They were super delicious 10/10. I wanted more. And looking back at the menu and other photos, I’d come back to try this place again. Fair pricing it appears.

Had a Salmon Ceasar Salad. Not much to get wrong on this. Asked for extra ceasar on the side and asked for a few tomatoes.
This was my first visit, I had no idea that there is a charge for extra dressing and a charge for a few tomatoes nor did the waitstaff take the time to inform me.
Lesson learned for sure!
So glad I saw at the bottom of the menu that there is an automatic 20% gratuity added no matter what.
Yea… Miss me with that!!!
I thought the food was pretty good but we can get good food at most places in Metro Atlanta

Great local spot in a good atmosphere close to the vibrant atl cultural epicenters (El Malo, Oakland Cemetary, The Eastern, Little 5 points, the Beltline on Krogg Street, Grant Park, Edgewood Ave). Has a cool downstairs bar area and a covered rooftop with firepit style tables. Parking was good (and free). The servers were helpful and had good suggestions and taste. Daniel particularly stuck out. Great place to bring some friends, have some drinks, some food, and enjoy your time without breaking the bank. Beignets were to die for. I’ll def be back and will make this one of my go-to’s for a casual lunch or dinner in the city without too much of the Hollywood atl pricing/parking/waiting.

The wife and I had an amazing date night. The food and drinks were on point but my Brother Charles was a great ray of sunshine. His personality made us feel welcome and at home while laughing our butts off. I felt at home because he was from back home.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. As of recently, it went under new management and the food is not good anymore! The signature wing sauce (sweet heat) tastes cheaper than ever before. Seems like they are now using cheap ingredients to make the food. Even the Caesar dressing tastes like it was store bought. I couldn’t believe how so much has changed. And now they add gratuity on every check. This is not how you keep a business running. Keep going the cheap route and you’ll lose all your customers. I promise you that.

A friend recommended this spot. I was not disappointed. We started off with the Southside wings (mild and lemon pepper). They were delicious! I also ordered a burger with fries (forgot to take a picture). The burger was great! I’m a fan of hand cut fries, but this was not served.
