We were invited out to Renzo’s by some friends. So, this was a first time visit to this establishment. Even though it was a Monday evening, our host made reservations just in case they were busy.

Parking is shared with some other businesses in the area, most notably Living Spaces. I added some pictures of the entrance, and the outside dining area (which was covered tonight) should you want to experience this dining aspect of the restaurant.

We arrived and were seated with out hosts. Our server, Laura, greeted us and took our drink orders. She gave us plenty of time to review the menus, and then took our order. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and requested angel hair pasta. This dish arrived and was cooked well, and tasted good. The traditional butter garlic sauce was replaced with their own in-house sauce (see pic & video).

The other dish ordered was the special. Given it was a fish, we requested it grilled vs. fried. Laura checked and informed us they would grill the fish, but would swap out the fish to be a red snapper vs. the fish on the special. This dish arrived, and had good presentation and taste too. However, my spouse was towards the end of eating her meal when she noticed this last few bites of the fish did not look cooked. This was the thicker portion or part of the fish. Given it was only about 2 or 3 bites left, she did not eat this area, and while we should have brought it to the servers attention, we did not.

The other dishes ordered were grilled vegetables with a side of grilled shrimp, and butter & sage gnocchi (apologies no pics of these).

Our beverages were a simple cucumber cocktail, Italian beers, and water.

While we did have one hiccup on the cooking of the fish, all other dishes were well cooked.

Overall, we had an excellent dining experience, and will be returning to see if the experience with the cooking of the fish repeats itself.

I hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine.

I had an enjoyable dinner out with friends here. The restaurant is inviting, both indoors and out. The staff are delightful, and there is plenty of seating. I had the Caesar salad, and it is definitely not my preference to be served the head of lettuce without the salad being mixed. The ratio of lettuce to dressing and toppings felt a little off. Overall the food was good and it was a pleasant evening.

Dec 24–First time at Renzo’s off 1604. We hadn’t heard of the restaurant before but were pleased to find it next door to Living Spaces after a long evening of furniture shopping. Pizza and holiday cocktails to the rescue! We love authentic Italian food, and the Capri was on point with those we’ve had in Capri and other parts of Italy. We plan to come back and try other menu items.

The culinary experience here is exceptional. From the perfectly executed pizza to the spaghetti and meatballs in a rich pomodoro sauce, every dish is worth the visit. Their Cacio e Pepe is equally impressive—It’s not Italy but it’s definitely a must try!

We have been here a few times and as always, it’s so yummy. Customer service never disappoints and thats a plus to the good food. Sherell serviced us today and she was extremely welcoming and her charisma was beautiful. Great HH spot!

I expected more from this restaurant. I went to celebrate my birthday yesterday and the truth is it wasn’t what I expected. The drinks were good, but the spaghetti took too long and when it arrived it was bland and overcooked. The shrimp tasted like they were frozen. For the price of this dish it was disappointing. My husband ordered carbonara and it was overcooked. We expected more because the bill was something. The waiter only came once and didn’t show up again to give us our bill. It is worth noting that the plating was good, but the food did not taste good.

First off service was poor. Had to get other waiters and bartendwr to help us. Manager finally had to run my CC. Grilled shrimp was chared and served that way so kitchen has no pride. The pizza was raw so only ate two slices drinks were average but over piced. Steak was over cooked. Chicken was the only good thing apart from the water boy who was on top of his game.

Dined at this place last night. Surprised by the smallness of the dining room. If the weather is nice, strongly consider patio dining. Being from New England and growing up in an Italian family, I am fairly fussy about my Italian food, however, this place was excellent. It started with fresh, hot garlic bread (a major plus) and the lasagna and the lemon chicken parmesan were both great. I have to admit that the tomato soup tasted more like squash, but it was good so I’ll leave it at that. My only complaint would be the very small table for two. We spent a good deal of time shifting things around as dishes came out. Maybe they can do something about that. All things considered, a great dining experience.

The pesto pasta was amazing!
Cocktails are super small for the price. Would definitely recommend this place. We got- pesto pasta w/shrimp, American breakfast and lasagna bolognese.
