We LOVED Renny’s Smokehouse. The brisket melted in the mouth, the waffle fries were piping hot and the coleslaw was finely chopped in a creamy but light sauce that balanced well on the fork. My hubby had the brisket poutine and thoroughly enjoyed it – a generous portion that he could not finish.
It was interesting to speak with the owner/chef to learn more about the business history.
We sat in one of the front bay windows which felt (and was despite the frigid Temps outside) cost and afforded great people watching!!
We will be returning.

My husband and I came across this place while travelling in the area. I can’t recommend it enough.
It is a small owner operated establishment and they really put their heart and soul into it. They are the most genuine people and gracious hosts. The food was excellent too.
This place is worth going out of your way to visit.

Hey fellas (and carnivorous ladies)
Stop and think for a moment how many times your partner has told you to “Shut up” for one reason or another… now you can respond (like I did) and say “Can do! Take me to Renny’s!” And you to can order the Shut up and Eat it! and receive some random magnificent entree like the one in the photo!!!
Obviously I highly recommend Renny’s! Mike and Erika thank you so much for the hospitality and unbelievable food!

Had the burger and brisket special and the brisket sandwich. Both were excellent. Tender juicy and perfect smoke flavor. Hidden gem in Wheatley. Worth the drive from LaSalle! Maija was a great server.

Very good food. I would highly recommend the pulled pork mac and cheese, it is nearly perfect (throw a bit more cheddar on there and it’s perfection). The ribs are fantastic. I really liked the baked beans and cornbread. Nobody likes coleslaw but at least theirs isn’t super sweet like the typical.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They definitely made the experience even better.

We are camping and decided to hit a restaurant. And oh, my gosh, by far, this is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to the food, literally melts in your mouth.
And my husband only ever eats hamburgers and chicken wings, and he got the hamburger and said, it was one of the best hamburgers he’s ever had. I had the appetizer pickeral, and it was so delicious. It literally melted in your mouth, but I want to give a shout out to our waitress. Anna, she was awesome. Such a nice person. We’re so glad we went and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody passing by. 10 out of 10 i would like to give a shout out to the cook. I think his name was Matt. Anyways, I highly recommend he knows what he’s doing.

Figured we’d try a new place. Definitely recommend 100% to try. Everything is fresh and cooked to order as well as homemade and their meet comes from a local butcher. Wife had the perch and she loved it. I had homemade mac and cheese and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Staff, atmosphere, and food was 100/10. Sorry I didn’t get any pictures food was that good.
