We took my Nana for a late lunch at Rendezvous last week and had such a wonderful time that we’ve booked another table this week! The food was excellent, delicious flavours and a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The service from Charlotte, Ellie and Lauren was exceptional, we wanted for nothing! I go to this restaurant with my sister every 3-4 months and generally it’s very good. But yesterday I ordered a seafood risotto which was poor. I love chilli but even for me this was too much, the seafood was overcooked and the prawn very dry – plenty of mussel shells but hard to find the flesh. I asked the girl to give the chef a message regarding this but I had no reply back. On the other hand my sister’s seafood plate was very good. We had to leave for an appointment and the girl was busy so I couldn’t follow it up. I was disappointed. Have tried to find an email address to contact you directly but there wasn’t one on the website. .

The food was fabulous. We had scallops followed by monkfish, and both were perfect. The service was attentive and perfectly timed. Our server, Ellie, was very knowledgeable about the food and gave great recommendations. It was a delightful evening and I highly recommend it.

Never been here before so I thought I’d try it. Had a croque madam with chips. The cheese on the top of the madam was very thick and the texture felt like rubber. The ham inside was nice but fatty. The only good thing about the meal was the chips.
