When I walked through the door, I almost walked back out. The front of the room is nondescript. Vinyl records on the walls hint at a theme, but what. Furniture is worn. But walk past the half-wall and it screams diner, complete with stools at the counter. I was glad I stayed. The waitress was friendly despite being very busy.
The food was fantastic. I had the Denver Omelette Bowl. Delicious! Give Morning People a chance.

I really like the down home atmosphere of this cafe. I’ve tried the Western omelet and the pancakes platter so far and loved them both. Big fluffy pancakes as big as your plate! The western omelet was loaded up with ham, onions, peppers, cheese and more. The coffee is pretty good and always plentiful. They stay open for breakfast past noon, and have lunch specials as well.

Very poor experience. Staff was rude and incompetent. Called in a to go order. Staff that answered the phone didn’t know they was out of potatoes? Ok. Made my order. Got there and waited 45 minutes. Not once did someone mention that they was out of potatoes. Staff sat at the bar talking about ball gags and bondage. “Family friendly diner”. Right. Cuz kids should be able to hear that. Finally got the food. The over easy eggs are fully cooked and hard. The scrambled eggs are just fried eggs chopped up. The hash browns are under cooked. And when I ask about the home fries finally got told they was out of them. Staff Offered a 15% discount but instead gave me a 15 cent discount. Entire experience was a joke. Use to be a decent little place to get a good meal. Not worth the time now.

Good breakfast place. Stopped off before the eclipse, and glad I did. Friendly folks. Took a bit to get a plate, but it was well worth the wait. Steak was cooked to order and plenty of toast. For sure will be back when I’m up this way, again.

The place was filthy. I had to ask for a rag and spray cleaner to clean the counter. Where i sat, all the tables were dirty. I noticed behind their toaster what looked like an inch thick layer of dirt.
The food was disgusting. Biscuits under cooked eggs were greasy.
The board of health needs to come close the place down

Nice folks, but food wasn’t to good. Edible, but I can do bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravey, and fries potatoes much tastier myself. Observed a few serve safe protocol mistakes, not sure if anyone has been trained? Dining room needs to be livened up. Saw quite a few locals in, so I assume it’s a community thing? I have no issues, it was just pretty basic all around. There’s definitely room for competition! Sorry folks, just being honest.

Absolutely love Morning People Cafe! Stopped in for breakfast to go this morning and found out they’d just made Texas sheet cake and banana split cake. So, I grabbed some of each. There’s nothing better than comfort food made from scratch. And Morning People Cafe is the best around! Friendly staff who make you feel welcome, delicious food and everything you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I always forget this restaurant is here, but not today. Peak wait times are accurate, so if you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. The food is freshly made, and the facility is like an old school diner. The staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend.

This unassuming cafe had excellent service and good food! I especially liked the hashbrowns. If you ever don’t feel like making your own omelette I’d definitely recommend the western. Also I don’t know how the toast was so good but it was perfect and buttery.
