My husband and I enjoyed delicious crawfish at Speck’s at Rendezvous after hearing about their quality and their deals. Excellent ambiance, food, service—we’ll be back! (Please bring back the weekend breakfast buffet and add a fruit and oatmeal bar. ☺️)

We hosted a party here & had a great time from the planning phase, all the way through the party. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was all 10/10. The venue space was absolutely perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this as an event space.

This venue double booked my wedding day. To accommodate, they were going to require me to have my ceremony in the tiny restaurant front while the other wedding party got the venue in the back, despite the fact that the restaurant front is not what I paid them for. Perileigh informed me that all the paintings in the restuarant could come down on the day of the ceremony. When wedding day came, Rick Wiley was VERY unprofessional and threatened me and my wedding party for removing the paintings on the walls. This resulted in us having to find a new wedding venue ON THE DAY OF OUR CEREMONY. Do not get married here unless you want to be royally screwed over.

Before I post this review please keep this in mind. We had to make reservations and choose our meals online. Later we got called two days in a row confirming what we chose. We showed up at designated time and we’re seated. We were ignored for 25 minutes. I approached a waitress to ask her why. She apologized and said she’d bring us wine, a pitcher of ice water and app. After another 20 min we got wine, no water and an app. 20 minutes later we had to ask if we we’re getting other courses. We got a soggy plate of lettuce out of the fridge. They brought the bisque that was so salty we couldn’t eat it. They said we know yet served it. Main dish was filet and lobster tail. They came to our table and told us they ran out of lobster tails and would throw us a couple claws. Even those weren’t clean and my husbands still had shell. As my husband says, these are the two times we go there. The first and the last.

Well, my party and I went there last Friday and the service and buffet was great. Good seafood and crawfish ran out but thats ok. We were very satisfied. We went again this Thursday and it was awful! Crawfish were mushy, meaning there were dead ones when boiled. We had made reservation and when we got there a half hour later, they had given our table to someone else. The cold drinks were flat. I asked our servicer about that and she said the CO2 was not working on the drink machine. It tasted awful. It looked like a new server staff. We decided we’re not going back.

The buffet was less than half empty and what was there was old and over cooked. The bacon was 30 seconds away from burnt, the biscuit bottoms were extra dark and crunchy, the sausage patties were dry and crispy around the edges and there were no eggs. What made it worse was in the 45ish minutes we were there, not one employee checked the buffet’s food quantity/quality. We had to flag someone down and ask for eggs. Meanwhile we witnessed 2 other couples walk in, check the buffet then shake their heads and order off the menu. The sign out front mentioned a free mimosa but that was never offered to us. We’ve been here a few times before and it was never amazing, but the state of the restaurant today was really sad.

The food was great, we will be back. I don’t see why they have negative reviews. The waitresses were very kind to everyone. They had a choice of a nice buffet, but we ordered off the menu. The food tasted amazing. Thank you.

We came in and the restaurant was relatively empty. While waiting a table had just left. The hostess told us it would be a 30 minute wait. I questioned why the wait due to the empty restaurant and was told “We are short staffed”. This is completely understandable and we accepted the answer and went to leave. I was stopped because I heard the same hostess talking behind the bar where I could see her about how we were dumb for questioning her about the wait. I don’t feel comfortable eating in a restaurant where the staff will openly talk about customers, especially when they are within ears reach.

Took about 10 minutes to get seated .. They were not that busy !! Ate the breakfast buffet.. food was cold, grits could be cut with a fork biscuit gravy also .. service was slow!! Table next to us had issues with their order off the menu He wanted a steak was told they were out.. he ordered a hamburger steak and did not get his onions and mushrooms !! From looking around I call it no management or lack of management duties !!

Was here for a corporate event. The company made the choices in food. We had Alfredo pasta which was ok. More pasta then sauce or meat. The jambalaya was TOP NOTCH. Eggrolls, which I thought were cajun, because why wouldn’t I- You can get eggrolls from any Walmart, which I’m sure they did. No sauces to accommodate the party, just one bottle of ketchup and hot sauce and a very small bowl of tarter- brought out later. The fried fish was PERFECT. Green beans were from a can, nothing special. The bread pudding was good… also no sauce or topping. I imagine individual food served is better. But I’m not going out of my way to go there. Especially not for a party/event.
