Boy, oh boy. I couldn’t find the review page fast enough. The homemade bruschetta sets the hook served with toasted points is right on point to get things started. Add the meatball marinara appetizer with grated cheese on the side and you’re on your way now.
The pork chop with side of green beans and sautéed vegetables (no rice for this diabetic) was as good as it gets. The service was wonderful, all hands on deck to get the food hot to your table. Beautiful presentation. Others had chicken picatta (moist and tender) and shrimp over pasta cooked just right.
You can hit the “return” key and send me back. Gra`zi.
What are they missing? Dean Martin singing “Volare” in the background.

Remini’s comes highly recommended, but my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. While the food was delicious once it finally hit the table, the kitchen service was incredibly slow. Additionally, the dining room layout felt a bit awkward and cramped. Given the pace of service, there are likely more efficient options in the area

I was surprised at the depth of the lunch menu, as it’s not just sandwiches. We enjoyed generous and hearty portions of cheese ravioli, pasta carbonara, and Chicken pasta natale all from the economically priced lunch menu. All were tasty and interesting. My sauce was a tad acidic, but was balanced well with the sweet onions, wilted spinach, tasty chicken and earthy mushrooms. Lunch was served with a wonderful crusty bread, with seasoned oil for dipping. I thought the oil was rather bland. The wait staff was exceptional and friendly. She brought my friend a birthday cannoli with a candle from her car! So thoughtful!

Will definitely return, as the food was delicious and expertly served with flair in a pleasant atmosphere.

The photo is of my generous pasta natale leftovers!

10/31/24 Lunch
Returned to Reminis today bc I wanted to introduce a friend to the place. It was Halloween, so a few of the servers were appropriately dressed!

I had the same dish as before, Chicken Pasta Natale and it was outstanding! The sauce was a tad sweeter, and so wonderfully balanced. The dish is made up of sauce with onions, mushrooms, spinach, pieces of tomato, and chicken, which was so much more tender than before, over penne pasta, and topped with lots of cheese! Soo delicious!

My friend had Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo of which the sauce was so thick, it was just unpleasant, and was too salty.

The bread dipping oil was still bland, but the bread is good. The service was slow, but the place was very busy at noon. So a hit and a miss.

Don’t miss the $9 lunch specials. Huge portions of many dinner dishes at lunch prices.

OCTOBER 2025 DINNER
Picked up a delicious Philly Cheesesteak to go. The sandwich had nicely cooked green peppers, onions, mushrooms and seasoned beef, smothered in cheese, and served on a crispy sub roll. The restaurant was very busy, but the wait staff seemed to be keeping up, and I did not wait long for my order. See photo below of the flavorful sandwich.

Service was friendly and attentive but overall this was not a top pick in Roanoke. The food was decent but not notable. The tables didn’t seem to fit well in the space, creating options where people are seated in heavily trafficked aisles and right in the middle of people standing at the bar.

Favorite italian place in roanoke by far. Went last Tuesday for lunch, had an overall pleasant experience. Food was great, the cooks in the afternoon never fail to impress me. Got a lunch portion carbonara and it had a lot of food for a great price. Got to take some home for lunch the next day. Service was excellent. Tiny blonde girl is clearly experienced and committed to a positive customer experience which is nice. Only downside is that my bread was a little stale, but nothing I couldn’t still eat.

Hands down the best Italian food in Roanoke. All freshly made with so much flavor. Everything is delicious. We have ate there for years but went tonight and the new owner, Jimmy, is so kind. He was great to our young son and went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for us. Bonnie, our server, was so kind and attentive. Everything came out quickly and hot and fresh. The portions are huge and so flavorful. I can’t recommend them enough!

Have driven past this place many times but never stopped, but am now wondering why it took me so long. I am huge fan of Italian food and everything my table got was very good! It was moderately full when we came for lunch, but we still received our food quickly. It’s priced about what I expected from an Italian Restaurant, so not a place to go to eat if you’re trying to be money conscientious, but worth it otherwise. It is definitely a place I will eat at again! Food Shown: Fettuccine Alfredo, Plain Spaghetti, Gyro, Baked Ziti, Nana’s Rice Balls, Fresh Bruschetta, and Pasta Marsala

Where to start!?? The drinks were AMAZING! We had 3 lemon drops and they were by far the best lemon drops I ever had. Food was awesome, BIG portions so expect to go home with left overs. The owner and staff were so nice and welcoming !! We were in town from Cary NC and this place was the highlight of our trip. It’s hard to find good Italian restaurants where we are from . Reminis hit home and reminded me of how my dad cooked growing up in a big Italian family. We will be back :))

I’ve become a regular in this establishment within the past couple of months. I like to come in for the lunch special. I came in today and it was very busy, busiest i’ve ever seen at this time of day. I’ve had all three girls that were there today as servers and I must say, all together they are a dream team! way to go Ariel, Caroline, and Elle! They handled the situation very well. Chicken parm was as good as always, I definitely recommend going in the afternoon for the best food. Always a great experience here at Remini’s

We always do takeout and the food is always great, we usually do the Alfredo for 2 meals which was usually around $30. Seems like they raised their prices tremendously! Now its $50 for that meal, that is way too high of a price increase for something that doesn’t cost near that amount to make. The price hike just isn’t worth the food anymore. On another note, a single alfredo is $20, so how does a 2 meal combo equal $50, yeah you get a salad with the 2 meal combo but a $10 basic salad?
