Excellent food. I started with a dozen oysters from the daily fresh oyster menu at the bar while waiting for my party to show up. I recommend taking advantage of the happy hour discounts on food and drinks. It ends at 6:00 pm. 50% off all oysters during happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The food experience was well worth the price. There is no comparison to the great flavors in every dish and appetizer I had. I highly recommend experiencing this restaurant..you won’t forget it and will want to return.

Remington is a very nice restaurant. The mood was set the vibe was great. The lighting was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff was very nice and our food was nicely set up and looked very good when it came out. We did not have to wait a long time so that was great.. my dish that I had it needed a little more flavor and seasoning. That’s my opinion. Very nice establishment, not saying that I won’t go back and try something different but with that being my first time my dish wasn’t nothing to brag about but very nice very grown and sexy atmosphere.

Biked to this place and rolled in without a reservation on a Thursday night. The host happily sat us at a high top near the bar which was pleasant and peaceful. The waiter was very friendly and we proceeded to order and consume a bottle of Cava, a delicious octopus appetizer, a very good salad (first one on list) the seared tuna steak special, and an OK salmon main. Would definitely go back.

Remington never disappoints! The lobster bisque was delicious, the clams casino were quite tasty and made me miss patio season, and the burrata was exceptional. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. Perfect place for date night.

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner with a dear friend. The food was great. We shared the Clams Casino and both ordered the Stuffed Salmon. Both were delicious!! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our table was in the upstairs dining room which gave us a little extra privacy and a quieter atmosphere to talk. My friend even commented on the excellent choices of music that was played in the background. The valet parking staff was also very efficient. This was a great choice for a special evening.

The pricing is a bit steep for what you’re getting. The bolognese at $37 not being homemade pasta is very bold. Looks like it is either dececco or barilla rigatoni which is about 3-4 dollars a box at the store. Seeing the price of the rest of the menu like steak frites being $72 I’m glad I did not splurge on something more expensive and be disappointed with the quality even more. I understand this is a more upscale restaurant and given so, shouldn’t the pricing of the food reflect on the quality? The service was impressive and everyone was very kind but just left underwhelmed with the quality of the food.

Only heard good things about Remington Tavern and they were all right! We were welcomed by friendly staff and showed right to our table. Just enough time to sit at the table and decide what drinks we wanted before the server came over. Food quality was superior and well worth the price! The filet is a must try and make sure you leave room for their dessert menu! They do have valet parking, which is worth it if it’s a busy night!! We could’ve done without the live music but many did enjoy it.

Remington used to be one of my favorite restaurants to frequent in Buffalo, but things have changed over the past few years. This establishment, which used to be a cool place to get a reasonably priced upscale meal, seems to have downgraded in quality while raising prices. The steak frites price has been raised to $60, but I understand the market has changed and that might be typical.
The main problem we had was with the small changes that have been made that take away from the overall experience. For example, a once complimentary bread basket has now become an add on bread service where they have downgraded the bread to a few slices on a plate. One of the people I was dining with was excited to get the steak sandwich, their favorite dish. While the item was on the menu at the bar, we were told that we were not able to order it at our table because it had become a bar-only item. This was a new change, and very confounding considering we were seated mere feet away from the bar.
All on all, I was disappointed by the direction the restaurant has gone in. The food was not as high quality as I remember it and the vibe is not what it used to be. I hope they can turn it around in the future.

Who doesn’t like to be treated like Royalty? Treat yourself to a fantastic meal dished up by a service staff that is polite, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Not just your particular server…but the supporting wait staff as well. While you are engrossed in conversation, they are quietly removing your used dishes and utensils, refilling your water, making sure that your appetizers, entrees, drinks and needs are met effortlessly, and in a timely manner. Now to the food… Superb! Handsome companion ordered the mussels as a pre-meal appetizer. Succulent, easy to remove from shell, basking in a tasty seasoned butter garlic sauce. A side of Crostini with spreads of herbed butter, or savory red pepper, compliments both the apps and the meal. He then chose the Rigatoni Bolonese, meaty, with pasta cooked to perfect textures melding with a balanced delicious sauce. I had a daily special, four large scallops in pomodoro sauce that combined with our appetizer, filled me pleasantly. We then shared a creme brulee. Yes, I offered him two velvet spoonfuls of custard topped with the thinnest brittle caramel frost to melt on his tongue. He insisted that I finish that gift of dessert. Topped off with an intoxicating bourbon and seductive Chianti, we finished the evening with a lingering kiss. Yum. Well be back for another romantic evening!

It was okay for what it is but for the prices I wasn’t very impressed to be honest. There are much better restaurants in buffalo area for the same cost or even a little less that are much better in my opinion but to each their own. I had the twin lobster tails and added a strip steak with truffle fries, fries were tasty large serving as well, lobster wasn’t overcooked, steak wasn’t medium rare as ordered , was medium in the center and well done in the ends and a bit tough. My spouse had the stuffed salmon, again it was okay but pretty basic flavored meal.
We then had dessert, my spouse had the pumpkin cheesecake she enjoyed it and I had what resembled a pie slice of carrot cake which was also enjoyable, $16 a piece worthy no but nice flavor. All in all we are happy we went to experience it and had a nice stroll after along the creek right across the way but it was def a one time trip for us. I will note the musician playing was very good he had a nice voice and was playing popular classic rock songs in a Jazz style, we enjoyed watching him play while we ate.
