We got to sit in a private booth without our shoes. The sushi was fresh and they had a huge number of speciality rolls. You don’t always see it, but they had told with fresh fruit and fish. If you haven’t tried a fruit/fish combo you should! It works surprisingly well! As always the hubs ordered too much and the sushi held up nicely for the next day

The ambiance of this place is really well done. There are traditional rooms or the open area seating. The food was okay but I don’t think I would be a repeat customer. I happen to have passed by. I bought the hibachi steak and while flavorful and a good portion, it did not have the wow factor. Maybe they are known for other dishes.

Went for our friend’s birthday. So amazing, even the owner did Sake Bombs with us! Will never forget.

Small place with soft booths, cozy private rooms, ambient lighting, and great rolls. The beef negimaki in particular is incredible.

I used to eat here once a week when Joey owned the restaurant, she was extremely friendly knew everyone that came into dine and very generous while you waited for your food by giving you some saki. I really enjoyed eating here. Then out of no where she sold the place and the service went down, no more free saki while you wait, the staff didn’t greet you when you came in and somewhat unpleasant when ordering food. I wont dine here again as I am not getting the same great service I was getting when Joey was there. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because the food is still pretty good but service is awful. I see the new owner raised the prices. I now dine at Anzai Sushi in East Meadow and the food is just as good and service is above average.

We’ve been to Tai Show various times and various groups of friends and family and always had a wonderful experience. Love the concept of the booth, although not sound proof, gives you the feeling of privacy. Food never disappoints, from the appetizers, sushi, main course, desserts and drinks. Best part of Tai Show is our server. Energetic, patient, and very helpful with recommendations.

We always have a good experience here. The interesting part about this restaurant is, they offer private booths with Japanese style doors that close during dinner. You take your shoes off before going into the booth which is super cool! I definitely recommend throwing on a pair of clean socks if you’re interested in dining the traditional Japanese style …

We ordered over $100 worth of food to be delivered as we have a number of times. We pulled out the food, began to open the packages, and found a roach in the miso soup.

Ordered a few rolls, soup and kani salad. For 8.50 the salad was a thin layer over greens which made the container appear full. The sushi and rolls were fishy, chewy and seemed like they were pre-prepared prior to our order. It was the first time I’d ever seen my husband throw away sushi. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be ordering again.

Quiet, almost traditional with an excellent menu selection. Hot and cold sake with a good selection. Probably 100+ different sushi selections. Fresh fresh fresh!!! Excellent ginger and wasabi flavor. Not overly priced, most expensive roll was about 14$. Dinner for two (4 rolls, sake, 2 cokes, rice) came out to 71$ My new sushi spot!!!!
