The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick. The venue itself is warm and inviting, nicely decorated, though the tables are cramped.

The fixed menu offers a delicious experience: a salad with a excellent vinaigrette, impeccably cooked and sliced beef (medium-rare, just as it should be), and perfectly crispy french fries. Water and desserts are separate.

The food was outstanding, with generous portions. They even came around twice to serve more meat and fries. What truly sets this place apart are the sauces for both the salad and the meat; they are delicious. For dessert, I had a Mont Blanc, which was excellent too with great texture and flavor.

A couple of downsides. The waiting times outside were excessively long, almost an hour in the cold, which is unacceptable even during peak hours. They should improve this, perhaps with a covered or indoor waiting area, or consider a larger venue. Furthermore, the price of drinks is insane: I paid 7€ for a 1L sparkling water bottle.

That said, I had a good experience overall.

I really puzzles me why this place is so popular with long queues. We were there before opening for lunch and there was already a long queue outside. Nevertheless we decided to queue and waited about 15 mins to be seated. As mentioned, they only have one menu, which is $29 for salad, bread, steak and fries. Drinks ordered separately.

The Steak only comes in rare (which is actually medium rare), medium and well done. The first serving is around 4 slices of beef with fries and once you are done, they serve you a second portion, which is around 3 slices and more fries. I personally think the steak is very average, and unless you are used to cheap steak, the steak is nowhere near to great or excellent steak. I find it very hard to believe folks who think the steak here is actually outstanding. The fries are quite additive though. Service is good and prompt. Bottomline, it’s really not worth queuing just for the steak and there are much better steaks out there but it you want a fixed price for a set, I guess this place will work for you.

Our experience at Le Relais de l’Entrecote was excellent. The concept is simple as the menu only includes a fresh salad to start followed by steak frites as the main course. The entrecote was delicious and the fries were thin and crispy. We loved that they provided a refill every time we finished a serving. The service was very fast and professional which made the experience even better. It is definitely a must-visit for steak lovers.

We ended up eating at this restaurant by chance, and we’re so glad we did. Apparently, it’s very popular, but we didn’t know that. They only serve food during specific hours, so that’s something to keep in mind. There is only one menu available. First, they bring a nice salad. Then comes entrecote with sauce, served with fries, cooked to your preferred doneness. The portion is served in two halves so it stays hot — once you finish the first half, they bring the second half. We were completely full. The profiteroles we had for dessert were also delicious. We paid €77 for two people. I’m not sure whether that’s cheap or expensive for Paris, but the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

Been coming here for 20+ years and the ribeye with the most delish lick the plate green pepper sauce which they serve you half the serving initially and the second half is kept on a hot plate which you get when you’re ready so that both orders are served at the perfect temp! The frites are perfectly done. Be sure to eat the salad has the best Dijon dressing. Order the table wine. Best time is to stand in line about 15-30 minutes before they open to get in. Oh be sure to order desserts the profiteroles are our favorite.

One and done restaurant! Very fun to go here once during a trip to Paris. The salad, steak and fries are 30 EUR each. The star is the green sauce which is amazing with the steak and fries. TIP: TRY TO GET HERE 10 MINS BEFORE OPENING. There is a line to get in at all times, even on the Monday night we went. They turn tables very quickly and the place is pretty squished but a fun meal!

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. The service is also great, we’ve found a waitress that was speaking Romanian❤️ the beef was excellent, they also give you a refill with meat and fresh French fries. The dessert was delicious

This restaurant is a total tourist click bait. Social media made me shortlist this place while in Paris and I totally regretted wasting nearly 3 hours of my time.

The wait time was over 90 minutes before we got a table on the outside. The tables are cramped and wobbly. The steak was chewy and the special sauce was nothing to rave about. The house wine was the only saving grace.

The cost to dine here is exhorbidant when comparing it to the poor quality of food and experience.

Please save your time and money to experience some great options in Paris. Give this place a pass.

The steak was okay. I think what good about this restaurant is the tourist vibe. It was very crowded. We waited for about one hour to be seated.

If you’re considering Le Relais de l’Entrecôte because of the hype, save yourself the time. We arrived at 5:30 for a 6:30 opening and the line was already wrapped around the block. After all that waiting, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.

The concept is fun in theory, no menu, one dish, classic steak-frites. In reality, it felt like a factory line. Every customer arrives at the same time, and the staff rush to flip tables as fast as possible. Service was curt, probably because they’re moving at an impossible pace, but it still takes away from the meal.

The steak itself was the biggest letdown. We ordered it rare and it arrived cold. Not lukewarm, cold. For a place famous for just one dish, that’s a hard miss. The frites were fine, but nothing close to justifying the wait or the hype.

We were genuinely excited to enjoy a great steak-frites in Paris. This wasn’t it. If you’re looking for quality food or a relaxed dinner, there are far better options in the city without the chaos.
