Reviews
Atmosphere does not have annoying consumer music, allowing you to eat in peace in an old school diner setting, not overhyped, nice and simple.
The food is excellent, to my liking. Service is professional and warm.
However just one complaint and suggestion. It didn’t impact my stars but it might for others and other might not be back depending on price sensitivity. The amount of food is big, but the price is slightly higher than other diners I went to, perhaps it’s the location that charges the owners more so higher prices are there to compensate, but if not then I would recommend adjusting prices.
Parking is in the back and there is plenty of room.
It’s a diner and has the diner vibe with the old school booths.
We loved our breakfast and we are picky! My friend is very particular about his grits and he said they did them right…of course he added extra butter.
The corned beef hash was good and had the crisp cook we asked for. The eggs were cooked to perfection, which is tricky for sunny side up and over easy. The hash browns were good. I added onion which was sweet and tasty but I would have preferred them grilled with a bit of char, but yo, it’s a diner. The coffee was good and strong. The toast (we had white and wheat) was really good! Who comments on toast? Nobody, unless it is really good!
Wanted a quick bite with my wife and decided to stop at The Rehoboth Diner.
The wife got eggs with hashbrowns and pork roll. ( It’s Taylor Ham but that’s an argument for another time ). I got the Chicken Finger Basket.
The Pork Roll was so thick its undercooked. Hash Browns were dry. My Chicken was flavorless. Crispy but no taste. Fries are bland. Onion rings were the only thing enjoyable. Oh and the Coffee…..tastes like paint thinner.
The atmosphere is dull and outdated.
Being from Jersey , the Diner capital of the world , I know diners. This isn’t it. Sorry. I should have gone to McDonald’s instead.
Location: 2/5
The place is old and worn out in various places such as the chairs, building interior/exterior and more. It is fairly clean and not crowded. Definitely enough space for various people to come and eat.
The food: 3.5/5
The food options are great, but the food taste is decent. It is a cheap diner and do not expect much.
Service: 4/5
Service here is great. Friendly staff, they are very attentive and fast. The food came out quite fast and wait time is low.
Overall, if your budget is low and need to feed some people. This place is decent for you. If you expect quality food, look elsewhere. Would come again for relatively decent priced food.
3.5/5 stars for this place.
