This is a reliable, quick stop right on the main road (Sims Way). It’s incredibly convenient for ferry traffic and those needing a fast, familiar meal.
​The late hours (open until 11 PM) are a huge plus in a town that generally closes early. The staff are polite, but be prepared for the drive-thru to be busy, especially during peak meal times. Check your order before pulling away, but otherwise, it’s a perfectly functional McDonald’s!

We ordered two meal deals with coke. They said they didn’t have coke. We asked for lemonade and as the screen vanished I noticed a $2 up charge. We asked to talk to the manager when the boy at the window said he couldn’t change it. The manager came to the window and had an immediate attitude that we were complaining. She said our choices were watered down coke or lemonade for two dollars more. We went to another business for lunch and won’t go back to that McDonald’s again.

Look.. I understand people have bad days but from what I briefly saw tonight from the drive through speaks enough about how management treats their staff here. Service here is always a little slow but I mean come on it’s the only fast food in town? What can you do. No biggie for me at least but I understand on a management level wanting to improve service. Now what you DONT do by wanting to improve your ratings and service is yelling at your staff in front of customers about how “ IVE BEEN HEARING ALOT OF BAD STUFF ABOUT MY NIGHT CREW” and then following it up with some more yelling about whatever the hell to another staff member, Whoever that man is in charge also not only clearly showing his bad behavior verbally to his crew but topping it off with making his body language clear that he is NOT having a great time. Pacing back and fourth, Waving his hands around like he’s annoyed. And just to put the cherry on top when he handed me my food he barely even looked at me and very monotone “have a good night”… Right so are you sure it’s the crew that’s the problem or their leader? let’s reevaluate here and please know your staff WILL NOT respect you if you belittle and disrespect them to their faces. If you don’t have the people skills to run a team efficiently by correctly and handling day to day operations PROFESSIONALLY, Please find a new line of work. I in fact did not enjoy the side of McDisrespect with my McCrispy.

Posted hours of operation indicated this location would be open and doing business beginning at 5am. I just drove there from the ferry terminal, hoping for a hot cup of coffee and a burrito before I get on the boat – no such luck! I arrived at McDonald’s at 5:22am and immediately noticed that only half of the outside lights were on so my expectations were already pretty low at that point. I was disappointed but not the least bit surprised to drive around the building and see the drive thru lane completely blocked off. There were clearly employees in the kitchen – who didn’t/don’t want to do their jobs, it seems, but I’m willing to bet they’re all clocked in anyway.

From the plethora of negative customer service reviews this particular restaurant has and the length of time they’ve been earning them, it seems clear that this location is in desperate need of some fresh, competent management.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have! That’s what they earned!

**Thought I’d give it one more shot, thinking maybe they’d be up and running for the day by now considering it’s 5 minutes to 6. Nope. Still blocked off and only half lit up.***

The day before yesterday I saw a big rat, right by the pay window, not scared or anything. The first guy I told said “Yeah you’re not the first person to say something, but I’ve never seen one inside of that makes you feel better”. Ummm no, no it does not. The younger gal with reddish brown hair is super nice and does gives wonderful service!

Quick order of fries through the drive through. McDonald’s usually has good fries, unless they’ve cold, and they were. Yuck. I tried a few right after she handed me the bag and wish I would have handed it back to her. What waste of money and time.

Ordered mcdonald’s and as usual they can’t do anything right! Our shamrock shake was bright green and so minty that it stung my throat! Not to mention that 100% of the time ice cream shakes or coffee aren’t even available. By far worst mcdonald’s i’ve dined at.

Never a good experience here. Fries are always cold, chicken nuggets are like cardboard, diet coke is nothing like other McDonald’s, taste watered down. The store always seems to lack staff, closed on days they are supposed to be open. The employees are friendly and nice but whomever runs this franchise should have their franchise license revoked. Easily the worst McDonald’s in Washington. Look at previous reviews and you will see I am not being a jerk about my review. You are better off skipping this location and heading south towards kingston, pulsbo or silverdale. Leaving reviews here wont change anything. Anyone after me contact corporate as well.
