Red’s House BBQ replaces the Golf and Grill at Brush Creek with a superb start. I dropped in to chat with Red as the soft launch has just started. I am so glad I did! This is the absolute best barbecue I have had in years, maybe decades. Shh… he told me his secret… slow cooked all night. You aren’t getting that quick cooked BBQ that leaves meat tough and fat stringy, you are getting the best flavor with the best moisture in the best meat you’ll eat in the 4 State area.
Brisket on a grilled butter bun with a delicious mild sauce melted in my mouth. Smoked chicken that… well… I have never had it so good I just don’t have the right words. Not a single dry bite. Perfect balance of smoke flavor and spices. My mouth waters now, wishing I had bought more for late night leftovers.
If you aren’t dropping in here for dinner, you are going to the wrong place. I’m headed back as soon as possible.

I’m not from the area but I was in town for work and stopped by for lunch with a coworker. I had the Brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The service was great and it was decently priced with great sized portions! The chef even came out and said hello and made sure that we had a great experience. Definitely recommend and would come again if I was in the area!

Most awesome experience! We celebrated my husband’s birthday with Red’s and Brush Creek. Sarah went above and beyond to make it easy and special. Red made our dreams come true! I ate at Big Red’s and the fish was AWESOME. I rarely order fish but will definitely order it again. He is a great chef with a wonderful personality. Each time I’ve been there, he always stops by to visit. He is a caring and wonderful chef and person. Everything I’ve had there was good. You need to come check it out.

Absolutely blown away by this BBQ spot. The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, genuinely caring about every customer’s experience. And the staff is also amazing. They’re attentive, friendly, and truly dedicated to making sure you leave happy. I used to work in healthcare for years and their professionalism/service truly stands out. Now, the food… oh my good Lord, the food… Everything is pure BBQ heaven. Smoky, juicy, and a party in my mouth— all the food compliments one another. If you’re looking for awesome BBQ, this is a top tier spot.

Stopped by here during a very slow time, only 2 other customers. Waitress brought our drinks right away but we needed a couple minutes to decide on food. She didn’t even attempt to come back. After at least 10 mins, we had to call her back. The pulled pork and brisket were cold and dry. The mac & cheese had been sitting around for quite awhile. The baked beans were good. Definitely won’t be back.

The food is excellent; great prices, generous portions, and everything I’ve had has been absolutely delicious! Try their “Fried Friday”; best catfish anywhere and scrumptious mushrooms. The chef/owner is friendly (a real people person) and friendly staff as well.
