I want to start off by saying that the lady at the register on September 11 was incredibly friendly, cordial and helpful. However this restaurant indoors could really use a little work, I like a hole in the wall restaurant, but this place is literally falling apart. On top of that our food was not good, all three of us ended up throwing away our food. The chili dogs were maybe the worst we have had in enterprise and out country fried steak has a…..bad taste to it and was not appealing to look at.

Everyone was so kind! The food was absolutely amazing I had the baked chicken, greens, and Mac & cheese. The people and the food are worth the 5 stars. The atmosphere needs some touch ups but its not about that We will be going back!!!

This place isn’t fancy or modern. It’s what some might metaphorically call “a hole in the wall”; but, this IS country cooking at it’s best. I went there yesterday and had liver with onion gravy, rice, cabbage and green beans. The gravy was thick, like my momma used to make, the cabbage, fried cornbread, green beans and rice, all complimented each other. This meal was very good! And it costed me $16, which I think is reasonable. If you love country cooking, pay them a visit.

I visited this restaurant while attending a baseball game at enterprise high and was thoroughly underwhelmed. The gizzards I ordered were a letdown, lacking the expected crunchy texture and featuring an unpalatable batter and any seasoning. I was also disappointed with the slaw dog, which consisted of a low-quality, pink Ziegler hotdog. My daughter’s grilled cheese she didn’t complain, but my brother’s 6-piece whole chicken wing wasn’t cooked as expected either. Furthermore, I was astonished to discover that a 3 oz bowl if that of chopped chitterlings cost $12, leading me to regret not preparing my own. I was not pleased. The food in the front glass look like the have never cleaned the glass since they opened the doors. The entire two hour drive back home I was sooooo mad with myself ughhhhhh! Then they kept taking one of the plates to the back of the kitchen, I didn’t like that at all. Very much of a waste of my money and time. Too disappointed!

Was looking for a local place to eat instead of those “chain food” restaurants. Definitely found that here and with the plates and silverware gave it that additional home cooked meal feel. Chicken was a little dry, but other than that, the experience was pretty good. Chicken dumplings were pretty tasty. Staff was quick and ready to help us. Got our food and table quickly, and they kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and the food!

Red’s Country Kitchen is great. I had the fried chicken with cornbread, baked Mac and cheese, and collard green’s. The food reminded me of how my mom cooked. My husband is definitely going back and I am glad. I advise if you love southern soul food or just want to try, then you must stop in and try the food.
