Geneva doesn’t have a ton going on, and without a car it can be tough to get around but Redman’s is absolutely worth the walk! Owner Redman goes above and beyond, greeting regulars by name and showing real love for his community. Come hungry, and whatever you do, don’t skip the collard greens!

Food was excellent. I ordered the whole wing dinner with fried okra and crinkle fries and my husband ordered the haddock dinner with greens and fried okra. No complaints at all. Food was fresh,seasoned well and hot. They cook the meat to order so be prepared to wait but it is well worth it. The owner and his wife are wonderful people. He also builds tiny homes( in case you need one) and showed us his latest creation. His story is amazing from buying a small hotdog stand and building it out with his own hands. Portions are large so be prepared to take food with you. The owner even gave us a sample of some food he was cooking(chicken and rice). Everything tasted like mom’s or grandma’s cooking. Note that the greens do not contain meat( based on the request of prior diners) but were still seasoned well and tasted great. The sweet potato pie is delicious, the slices are huge. This is a hidden gem in Geneva.

Great spot for southern food. I had the best fried chicken I have ever ate, and it came fresh out of the frier.

We ordered the 3 piece chicken and the fried pork chop dinners.
The food was absolutely delicious. We were informed that the chicken was made to order and that it would take about 20 minutes for it to be ready. It did but disappoint.
The service was also exceptional. Would highly recommend this place!

Took ride from Syracuse to soulful soul joint. Redman’s Chicken &Ribs ran by Redman and wife Kelly for past 15yrs. Fried chicken was spot on and side portions plentiful. Cheesy mac and cheese,amazing greens and corn bread muffins delicious. Jazz music and football going on in the recently renovated dining area. Soul Food joint that’s good for the Soul.

Redman’s is a small restaurant in Geneva offering a surprisingly wide variety of menu choices. Food is beautifully prepared by the friendly staff. I noticed that Redman’s does a brisk takeout business. I was part of a group of 6 and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

Came down from Canada for the wineries of Fingerlakes and found this little gem. Redman and his wife (sorry, forgot your name) runs the place and dear god it tastes so delicious! The price is a little too low in my opinion, I would definitely pay more to eat here. Chicken is flavourful and really big, ribs, same deal. I just can’t believe the amount of great food you get here for the low price.
Redman even took the time to show us his tiny house on the side of the lot which he builds himself. It gives me inspiration to build one of my own on my own property.
Sometimes I juggle with the idea of driving the 5 hours just to eat here.

Wonderful homemade southern food. I got the pulled pork sandwhich and collards. The bananna pudding is incredible. Took home 8 piece of fried chicken for dinner. Will be back!
