When we met our server, he seemed very out of it and bothered to be there (I get it, it was Christmas but c’mon dude). Didn’t crack a smile and wasn’t personable at all. Like, we were bothering him. So, that immediately changed the whole experience for us. He often disappeared and we felt forgotten about. Had to flag someone down for water. When we ordered our food, we’re told salmon was out. Also they were also out of lettuce we later heard from a nearby table. It took over an hour to get our entrees. We ordered filets, halibut (because salmon was out) and the seafood pasta. With some sides, gratin potatoes and broccolini. Both cold and underwhelming in flavor. Mushroom with the filets were cold and not flavorful as well. We’ve had comparable steaks that didn’t cost what they did, but we recognize the area we were in. The pasta was decent, but had to ask for the garlic bread that went with it which they forgot about. Overall, it just wasn’t special at all. I was with my in-laws, so I was really hoping it would impressive them. We didn’t order dessert because we just wanted to leave. The cost of this place is really high for the experience we had. Which, made it sting even more. We felt robbed. We would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Salad had way too much dressing. They were out of salmon at 6pm on Christmas Day. The halibut was decent. After we already received our food, I overheard that they also ran out of salad except for wedges. Service was extremely slow, unfriendly and we felt forgotten about most of the evening. The seafood pasta was tasty but still seemed expensive for what it was. This place feels stuck in the past and I can’t imagine this place surviving a new generation of diners. I would never return here and would never recommend it.
Nice cozy restaurant with a separate room for entertainment and of course the bar. The main dining room has a lot tables and booths.
We opt to sit at the bar. I loved and enjoyed the piano man. Great selection of songs to sing and dance to. Our server (I think Robin) was very nice. 5 Stars for her.
The prices are a bit high and the food is served in large portions. My friends and I should’ve just ordered salads and 1 entree. The french fries, which was my friends side dish was huge serving.
Food:
16 OZ Double Bone French Cut Pork Chop with Baked Potato
My friends ordered the Fresh Ground Sirloin Steak and Seafood Pasta.
Personally speaking, the food was meh. It was just okay and not great. Again the portions are huge.
I’d probably return for drinks and appetizers when the Piano guy is there.
Adrian walked us through the steak options with confidence and helped us choose cuts that matched our tastes perfectly. Her recommendations for wine pairings and sides were spot-on, and she even shared details about how the steaks are aged and prepared—which really added to the experience.
What stood out most was her genuine passion for great service and food. She made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing, and the entire meal ran smoothly because of her professionalism and expertise.
If you’re dining here, ask for Adrian—you won’t regret it!
