This was good casino dining, which can be hard to find. Loved how they were slightly off the gambling floor, and their ventilation system was amazing–having folks smoking within a few yards of the dining area. And the set-up was really comfortable, with Western motifs and a strong lean to sports bar atmosphere. We ordered off the Appetizers menu, and got far more than we expected. Chips and Queso were just that, but their wings were kitty-cat massive, and their Navajo Taco was pretty darned robust, with Buffalo Chili as the focus. Flavors were fine on everything. Special mention for their house made Spicy Raspberry sauce for their wings. It was a long day for us, and this comfort food hit the spot for din-din…

6.2.25 updated review: when we walked up, we were greeted and sat immediately and asked if we already knew what we wanted to drink and we did. I’m still not eating meat and as I was scanning the menu, the Beauty burger caught my eye and surprised I haven’t noticed it before. As described on the menu, the Beauty is “Coeur D’Alene Casino’s famous grilled black bean burger, topped with pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and cilantro lime crema on a potato bun.” For my side, I went with my go-to of tater tots. My friend ordered his usual, chimichanga with queso.

The Beauty arrived hot and visually looked pretty good for being a burger made of black beans. One bite in and I knew I liked it. The black bean “patty” was grilled really well and had some nice char to it, making the outside slightly crisped. The black bean taste itself was great and not over seasoned. I actually could taste black beans. The pico and cotija cheese tied it together giving it that fresh flavor combo to balance out the beans. My tater tots were cooked to perfection and had that extra crunch that I prefer. My friend usually takes half of his chimichanga home b

1.16.25: After the Elvis concert show, we went to the Red Tail for dessert. I ordered the Blue-Huckleberry Crisp again and my friend got the Brownie Sundae.

The Blue-Huckleberry Crisp came out piping hot with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream topping. It was pretty sweet, kinda heavy, but really delicious. I like it because it’s always consistent and it has good filling-ratio. As the cold ice cream started to melt, it made each bite better and better! My friend’s Brownie Sundae was massive and arrived with three scoops of vanilla ice cream, a huge warm square of brownie, a mountain of whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and of course a cherry on top. This can easily be shared between 2-3 people. My friend got a strawberry smoothie too and was really happy with it and said he’ll definitely order it again.

Service was good, no complaints. Ambience wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be since the concert just let out, but we beat the rush. As we were leaving I noticed a lot more tables occupied.

2.5.24: Just returned home from being away for a month and wanted to grab a bite to eat. The ambience was great as it wasn’t busy and it was quiet. Our server, Shirley, was nice and attentive. I ordered a chip of beef stew and a chicken pesto salad, both were pretty good and hit the spot. The beef stew was meaty, flavorful, and had potatoes, carrots, and celery. The pesto chicken salad was crisp and I liked how the pesto dressing wasn’t too thick or heavy nor overwhelming in taste like some pesto can be. It was the perfect welcome home lunch.

1.1.24: We wanted to have New Year breakfast and my friend suggested we try the casino restaurant and said it’s pretty good. I was surprised there was no wait to be seated being it was a holiday. It was my first time in and the ambience was cozy as we were seated near the fireplace.

I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs and hash browns. Usually I request to have my hash browns extra crispy but I forgot. When my food arrived, to my surprise my hash browns were cooked perfectly and had that good crispiness on the outside and soft potato inside. My eggs were made like asked and enjoyed how they weren’t too runny. As for the biscuits and gravy, the biscuit used is really yummy–not dense or doughy but more light and airy. The gravy was thick and the season had a good pepper flavor. My friend ordered the Denver omelette, but with bacon instead of traditional ham and cheesy hash browns with a side of gravy. His omelette was huge and meaty–I did try it myself and it was pretty tasty. Since it was New Year’s Day we had mimosas as a cheers to the new year.

Our server, Geoff, was great and friendly, but sometimes slow, however that didn’t affect our visit. I think he was given a large section of the restaurant to handle. My friend told me about an All-You-Can-Eat breakfast bar here on the weekends that I want to come back and try.

We had beef stew, cheese quesadillas, smoke house burger with fries, fry bread,
The beef stew was perfect it had flavor it is good for older folks. The cheese quesadillas was ok but it need some meat, the smoke house was ok but for the price it is not good it looks like they use cheeper product and use less good products they cover the hole burger with bbq sauce and the fries are way to salty if you just eat them by themselves, the fry bread was the bust out of the hole meal it comes with jam, honey and butter. I would eat the fry bread again. In total I give this a Shay 6/10 or in stars 3.5/5

Service was excellent and food average. On the plus side, food came out in 5 minutes. The berry salad had high-quality ingredients and was a good size, but it came only with strawberries, not with a mix of berries. My husband’s mushroom/swiss burger was fairly plain and ordinary.

The atmosphere is great and the beast burger was delicous, merely a bit overcooked and the tater tots were lukewarm. The idea was there, the execution was just not perfect, specially for the premium price. Service was excellent though.

Hubs and I had the ribs and Beast burger. Generally we don’t get ribs places because we’ve perfected how we like our own making them at home. But these ribs were fantastic. Saucy, tender, cooked perfectly. Loved the smoky flavor. Kristy was our server and she was great in the sense that she anticipated our needs well before having to ask for everything. Beast burger was good. Def get the bread pudding!

A very poor experience. The wait staff was gruff, the service was SLOW and the food was not good. My wife and I both ordered steak which, according to the menu, was covered with a garlic butter. It was not. We both ordered medium rare and while her’s was cooked properly mine was charred and burnt on the outside and not properly cooked. Neither steak was good. The “seasonal vegetables” were carrots that were poorly cooked and weirdly seasoned. We will not be going back and I suggest you don’t either. There are much better places in that location to eat.

We had dinner and what a treat. Fry bread was the best ever, yum
We had the beef dip with tots and everything was great. The tots were perfect gold and crispy for sure. Also the pork ribs were most delicious and the baked potato was great as well. Just lovely all around.

For years…. You guys have had the best blackened salmon salad. In the past week or so it’s changed to where now the portions are much smaller even when ordering a whole instead of a half. The biggest complaint though is instead of the nice blackened salmon fillet… it’s been replaced with a sad salmon skewer containing 1/4 of what use to be on the salad. Disappointing that the menu item has changed so drastically.

The service was really not enjoyable, it took an hour for our food as I seen 4 other tables that came in after us get served first. The server was unsociable and made rude jesters. The Beast burger was perty good(nothing to write home about) I will not be coming back .
